If a CSR sees it they'll probably yell at you, but the chances of that don't seem to be very high. There's a guild on Lowca with a city near the graveyard full of idiots who like to train krayts onto groups already fighting, killsteal everyone, and get krayts stuck on their shuttleport. They've been doing this for months and I don't think the CSRs have done anything.

POKEY THE PENGUIN SIG REMOVED BY GARVA BECAUSE "Just because you are crafty enough to get around the technicality of it being a .jpg or .gif does not mean it is not an image, it is not ascii art, it is an image" SO HERE IS MY NEW SIG.

Fighting any animal without him being able to hit you is an exploit, it is laming, i dont think its that bad cus you did it on accident and he got stuck on its own, if you try it again you could get in trouble, Its a defined exploit.

I would agree to a point. It is possilbe to run around behind something and for the AI to get stuck. Is this bad? Yes and no. In real life, if a creature the size of a Krayt dragon came charging after you, besides wetting yourself, you would immediately start looking for a place where you could get to that the Krayt could not. If you had a weapon, you would use that position of saftey to dispatch the creature if you could. You would not think to yourself, "My, that poor creature cannot get to me. Maybe it would be better if I ran into that open field."

On the other hand, the game has limitations. One of those is that the AI can only do so much, and it can run into pathing problems. If players can consistently repeat a circumstance where they can get high level content stuck, they are going to be able to solo creatures that the designers do not want to be soloed, and they will be able to benefit from expesive loots that other people, without this knowledge, cannot. This exploits the weaknesses of the AI.

Therefore, I believe that if you unintentionally find yourself in such a situation, it is unrealistic to expect someone to actually try to "unstick" the creature so that it can kill them. I also think that it is unfair to expect them to stop fighting it and lose the kill or the work they have done thus far, just to havesomeone elsecome along and kill it, even if it becomes unstuck in the process.

Thus, if it happens one time, no, I do not think it is an exploit or that it is lame. I think it is perfectly fair to go ahead and kill the creature. But I also think thatit is important to report it as a bug so that they can fix it, and so they know that you are not trying to exploit. On the other hand, if you actually try to get the creature stuck that same way again, then you are definitely exploiting, and you should be penalized.

Oh. One more thing. Creature Warping was the direct result of them trying to overcome just this kind of a problem. If people exploit weakensses like this, guess what will be back in a New York minute?
