but you are wasting money and time... you arent gaining xp, you are wasting weapon condition, you are wasting money on buffs and stims, and the mission money doesnt apply to tusken raiders. At the same type, other combat classes are still getting xp and can hunt tusken captains just as well as you can (and better when they master).. what are the rest of your "etc...."s?

Well if you are just referring to the Tuskens then yes it "can" be a waste of time, though that being said.. Tusken Chiefs and Warlords sometimes drop:

Force Crystals

Heavy Leather ( used in the making of items from the new loot schematics )

I personally looted a Tusken Rifle with decent damage and a Strong Mind Poison ( 9000 uses ) the only drawback being it has a speed of 9.0.

Otherwise hunting ( doing missions ) - You might spend 10k on a doc buff and say 2k for an hours worth of Food buffs:

You can get 10k missions on Dant for Pikets and finish off enough per hour to make at a minimum 50k per hour. So at a minimum you will make 38k profit in an hour. If you are smart and use your time wisely you can make a lot more cash than that from running mission lairs.

An added bonus to running missions, if you can get missions for MOBS that you can harvest good resources from ( Avian / Herbivore / Carnivore meat ) you can sell it for further profit.

And you never use your best weapons for PVE, always use something average and never Uber, something that is off the shelf and easily / cheaplyreplaceable.

Other "etc..." 's -

Run quests for Badges and Loot

Do Act 3 and help your Faction out ( you also make a fair bit of FP from Act 3 )

Group with new Guild Members and help them out, impart some of your Experience and knowledge so that when they go out themselves they don't kill everyone in their group by solely hitting the lair over and over and over and over ... hehe!

I made about 40-50k in one hour just by looting tuskens. Plus I got some nice loot and sold a decent gaffi for like 20k and got an armor attachment: heavy weapon speed: 3.

So im not wasting money, im actually making money, at the expense of a free buff from my guild leader and 4500 credits for buying some brandy.

As for wasting time- Heh this whole game is a waste of time, I could be doing many, many other things besides this, but I dont because this game lets me escape from the real world for a few hours at a time.

And no I dont believe other combat classes can hunt tusken captains as well as I can. I wasnt in any group, just solo, and I dropped Commoners, Raiders, Snipers, Captains, Chiefs, Warlords in just a matter of seconds. I do wonder how I would match against a King I mean I have already killed an NPC Jedi Padawan, Kings should be nothing.

So to answer your question again, novice professions would have a hell of a time trying to hunt as well as me and any other Master Rifleman. Maybe they can when they master, but Im also a Master Marksman and before I became Master Rifleman I had a tough time.

Plus I hunt just for the fun of it. After the Fort I went to the Krayt Graveyard (which seems to never stop spawning) and I outdamaged a whole group but got no loot but it's still the matter that when you reach Master in any elite or hybrid profession, your going to start having some fun. I know I am now.

Tuskens can be found roaming the deserts of Tatooine or you can go to a P.O.I ( Fort Tusken ). I think there is a Tusken Bunker also but I haven't been there as yet.

Go to Bestine and head toward the entrance of the Medical Center, outside there is an Imperial Officer, talk to him and he'll give you the exact waypoint.
