Thread: What rifles do you use and when do you use them?
Laser = general purpose PvE.
DLT20a = PvE vs unarmored/energy-vuln targets/faction NPCs/targets where I better be wearing composite.
Jawa = general purpose PvP.
The plumbum iron on Radiant sucks too much to even consider the E11.
laser for general use.
t21 if i really need to whack something(fs npc)
jawa ion or SG82(laugh, but very goodSG82s can be made) if i REALLY need an alternate damage type.
PvE I use 2 rifles:
1. Krayt Enhanced Laser w/ a speed slice 
147-425 damage, speed 4.0 usually with a speed powerup knocking it down to 2.9 speed
2. Krayt Enhanced DLT Rifle w/damage slice
242-345 damage, speed 4.7 usualy with a damage powerup making it around 260-425 damage
I use the DLT when I drain my mind from the laser rifle and need a fast damaging rifle
PvP:
1. Spraystick damage sliced with a damage powerup
60-247 damage, speed 1.9
This is also good for unarmored mobs, as I have hit damage as high as 1200-1300 with flushingshot2. Of course there are also the 140 bottom end hits too, but it usually balances out.
2. At range, I use the aforementioned DLT with a speed powerup
Once I hit master and speed is no longer an issue, I'll probably start using my T21 (216-375 damage, speed 7.6) on mobs, but right now it's way too slow. Haven't checked into the other rifles, but I'm not afraid to give them a try.
