I find this to not be entirely accurate. While during conventional firing with my 90 rifle speed and 7.5 speed damage-sliced T-21 I -do- hit the cap, the delay for things like strafe2 and Headshot3 means I spam specials at 1 every 2 or 2.5 seconds. Most people come across rifle speed tapes to help them with this, I just haven't gotten any yet (besides a single +1 armor attatchment
). To my knowledge, Master Pistoleers and Carbineers spam specials at the 1 second cap regardless.
Not sure about pistols but you are very wrong about carbineers and their speed cap. As we get only +60 speed at master that requires a 1.0 spd carbine to hit the cap on every special. A rifleman only need +7 in attachements to hit the cap with a 7.4 spd T21 (or something like this). While a Carbineer with +7 in attachments needs an carbine with a speed of 1.2 to do the same.
Even with +25 in speed attachments carbineers need a carbine with a speed of 2.7 or less to hit the cap, which means most of our high end carbines will never do that without a speed slice. So try to get your facts straight.
I agree with you on the skills, however my sig is horribly out of date.
I'm a BH/Carbineer now. 0/0/0/3 in Carbines (Working towards 0/0/3/4) and so far 2/2/3/4 in bounty hunter (Working towards MBH)

So try to get your facts straight. My rifle speed drops to 0 when I am Dizzy/KDed, and damage done to me is doubled. And my accuracy drops considerably, even at my optimum range, when I am blind.I am tired of nerf herders coming here with complaints about our speed when rifleman has virutally no state changes (stun and dizzy) and no KD moves. We have damage and speed and that is basically all.You DO NOT get to have state changes, area bleeds, area KDs and all the other things that come with those profession builds AND get to have equal DPS to professions that do not have them.
You need to relax abit, I wasn't crying for a nerf I was mearly trying to explain to the previous poster that Carbines don't hit the speed cap at master as he seemed to think. Then you come and drag on about states that had nothing to do with my post since if you read it again maybe you'll notice I didn't mention either state changes nor anything to do with KD.

Apparently you haven't lookied into the prices of a +7 or more speed attachement for Rifleman recently ![]()
And also don't troll and whine if you are not a master as well of an elite combat prof., that completely invalidates your nerf cry as any Master should be able to beat any Nonmaster.

The person you fought might has high range defense from using SEA and +5 Range Def Rings. I would recommend you to buy some carbine accuracy segment and see if it helps.
Sometimes SEA gives significant improve, think about Master Pikemen with +25 Pike speed and +25 pike damage, how deadly they could be?

First of all I'm not crying for an nerf, if you didn't know there is an combat revamp coming up that will hopefully help to even things out. And as for the price for an +7 rifle speed tape, you're right I haven't looked into that but I know I have spent several millions for my carbine speed tapes.
I'm also a Master Carbineer if you would of read my signature. You riflemen read too much into posts, I wasn't saying who would beat who in a duel I was merely trying to explain the difference in speed but I'm sure you're taking this as a cry for a nerf aswell.
