when is the last time you have seen a tka or a swordsman asking to be able to hit at 50 m because he cant beat a kite fighting style? NEVER... riflemen have the benifit they can hit at ANY range..

if you want to be realistic about it... swinging a rifle that would probably weigh 100 pounds around to hit a guy that is just close enough that his body is in the way to not even allow you to hit him is kinda tough... not to mention the fact that if you where any good at "martial arts" then you would easily be able to knock the rifle the other way.. anyway the point of the threed is that us riflemen shouldnt complain about how "weak" we are in duels which i see quite a bit...


i wasnt against taking the pistoleer accuracy range down a bit.. a running guy with a pistol should not be able to hit a guy from half the length of a football field away..


besides with attacks everysecond to the mind we should kill them before they even get in their own range


and if you say our drain is bad one more time... sure its horrible when we are shooting without buffs, muon, and canape.. but have you ever thought about dueling someone with buffs and all that junk.. most the time i can get my shots to have NO drain if not that its never over 11 drain

And you don't see that as part of the problem? Honestly, there was hardly any complaints about us (after the 75% reduction) until they put in buffs and **edit** like that. Special HAM cost is negligible so our major con no longer exists. The 2 bars that most people attack are truly infinite because even the most slow witted person can push their stim hotkey and heal themselves before it becomes a problem. Remove buffs and rework armor so it doesn't resist everything (but stun meaning us and rich pistoleers get an upperhand)almost perfectlyand things will work out a lot better.

Boo Hoo all i hear is cry's ,nerf this nerf that,then lets go to the nextclass that "cry has the upper hand" *cough* and nerf them to ,jeese just shut up and play the game ,you pay to play ,not whine ,we do not own anything in this game,it can and has changed at moments notice. If poeple would just get that through there simple childish minds and quit crying on these boards.

you have the only ranged stun dmg with armor pierce, not even a geo stun pistol (near impossible to find schematic can compare to a Ion Rifle).





Ever try to take cover and conceal shot in PvP? Ever see anyone do that?


Geo stun pistols can compare to Ion Rifles, in fact they're pretty damn good. Most armor doesnt have stun resist anyway, so the AR piercing isn't even a factor then.


Go bother some other profession's board

If they are at 40 meters orthe players you refer toare defense stackers I'll agree with this statement. Otherwise how do you explain me dieing to melee professions practically everytime they get to 20 meters (excluding ones who didn't master brawler and I kited to death which is no different then what any other ranged prof would do) While true I do everything I can to prevent this...not too much room to employ range gaining tactics in Theed/any city be itNPC or otherwise. I just don't see why melee profs should expect to win in any fight that takes place outdoors. It's just common sense.


I wish the devs would look to them and make it more realistic even though it involves nerfing them to hell...this is a gunner's game not a brawler's. Making it somewhat fair for both just ruins the immersion and reality of the game. Lower their skill point req to even it out but I really don't see why someone with a big staff/a sword/fists of furyshould have any sort of chance while running at me from a distance. Look at the ending of the last samurai for a glimpse at what I mean. And for thelunge attack, welldo you know anyone that can jump 60 feet? I don't so it really makes no sense outside of balancing the game for melee'rs. Oh well, people want their gameplay so let everything work out to make people happy I suppose.
