Through Lack of styles worth using and slow attack speeds, rifles do the damage upfront while pistols do the damage quick but not all upfront and with all the styles a pistoleer/bh has usually deal more damage but balances the equation. THe only fast rifleman you will see is a master.

on a side note in pvp i was only doing about 174 points of damage with startleshot2, which usually hits creatures for around 1700. is that normal?? cuz the way i look at it thats not a 75% decrease, thats like a 90% decrease. maybe i just had a few bad damage rolls i dunno. *shrugs*

i hit for 12,000 before on a target without armor, using startshot2, and a t21 that does 225-810 damage... i do 1500 damage shots in pvp easily

With a t21 thats sliced and has a 33%dmg powerup i wouldn't be surprised if people hit 5-7k dmg. I sometimes do that right now with my piece of **edit** laser rifle 28-486 with powerup.

Look we ALL know that BH are the best PvP they are ment to be followed by the Pistol people, those guns are ment for killing people rifles are ment for hunting, plus us on the Tarquinas server aren't lucky enough for the t-21 no materials to make um or something stupid like that...... So be happy you have them at least. But with the next patch giving 30 sec. between knock downs we'll have 1/2 a chance at least lol still you'll die agaisnt a swordsmen though, I sawone swords women take out 4 imperials before getting offed by an ATST lol thank god for those.
