So you're tryingtelling me our bigass turret isn't powerful enough to shoot through a mountain range? I call shenanigans. We must put a stop to this immediately

Good to hear they finally got this fixed, now melee'ers will have much more power and tactical advantages of height etc. will be more obvious.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

i should have clarified that hehe

Yes, it is for all combat fighting.

I was using a noob cdef carbine on a lesser womp rat on a steep, bumpy tatooine hill, i kept getting 'out of range' system messages because it was slightly above me and partly behind a bump on the ground.

Like I said, you should test it out.

The reason because i posted this here was because I was listening to this rifleman on the test center chat room talk about having trouble shooting a critter that was in a ditch while he (or she, i'm not sure) was prone about 60m away.

I'm sure this will impact some PvP engagements and the infamous 'poison/shooting through walls' glitch.

i think the guys werent asking if it worked with every weapon i think they wanted to know if they cant hit this creature or npc with the los in place does the creature or npc have the same los rules on them? And i hope they dont rush this into place .

If you can't see their feet, you can't shoot them. Small ditches, potholes, and those stupid rocks/logs will block LOS.

But if an enemy is taking cover behind a hill or something and they pop up to take a peek, shouldn't we get to blow their heads off? Maybe they will "fix" that before it moves here. On the flip side, they may just leave it so the nerf criers will leave us alone about it. Either way it will still be better.
