If you intimidate it's possible, but why do it that why. My friend, who's a heavy swordsman, and i can take down and elder with 100k ham in about 2 minits. If you milk the spawn right you can kill 17 elders in an hour. It's just a matter of finding them.

I call bullsh*t on that.

I'm pretty sure all Elders have 300-350k HAM?

I stumbled upon something interesting one day with an elder. I always examine elders when I am conceiling them. This way I can see them better when and if they start to run up to me. I was conceling an elder one time and I noticed that when I got her halfway down on her health her resistance began to drop. Their resistances drop to 50% at a certain time when their health is being hit. I peaced out and stood up and began to use any and every shot I could and she was dead before I knew it.

I have never been able to take on an elder solo using anything other then conceil until I get their resistance down then I go from here. I am not suggesting the dude is fibbing, I am just sharing my experiences with them.

This happens with all high level mobs - resistance drops the further the damage affects them. The damage you do at the end of your attackis significantly more effective then the damage you do at the beginning.

The NPC armor has condition just like ours. If it drops that means it's almost broken.

Why would bleeds be a problem for a doctor?

the bleeds she uses are really hard core , they take anywhere from 2 to 5 firstaids to heal ( i also wear +25 injutry / wound treatment pants which i forgot to mention ) . if a heavy bleed ( 4 to 5 first aids ) hits the mind i dont think i could survive . if it hits the other pools its much more managable since i easily heal 1500 health and action with a stim .

i think this is your answer right here why you died, you werent wearing armor? i am more impressed now lol, didnt know 4 peice suits worked against heavy npc's, corvette or dwb anyone?

my cousin is a master rifle with some cm. i am a master rifle/master swords/master brawler. he is speed capped on rifle. i can tank the elder, he poisons her and head shot 3's her and we can kill them is about 5 min. think about it...he does around 1k damage every second..5 min is 300k ham off her mind, thats just from rifles. the other 80k is done with my hammer and the poisons. we kill about 10-12 every trip, problem is we get no loot worth having....maybe some crystals, some lances that have nice mods, and the occasional exceptional claps/exceptional shards....but never anything worth much

Erm yes 4 piece armor works for anything , any other armor you wear will take damage but wont protect you, meaning that 4 peice armor is enough cause it's the only ones that actually defend you... I do the vette , elders , dwb , anything with only the 4 peices anything else is just extra encumb

yup thats exactlly what it means , a helm , chest , gloves and boots provide total protection . all incoming damage will hit 1 of these 4 pieces . only thing you have to be carefull of is what you wear in your pants slot . if you wear clothing pants you will be fine , however certain kinds of skirts leave a armor hole .

edited : however keep in mind that if you do wear any kind of armor in the pant / bracer / bicep area then it opens up that area to get attacked . what i am getting at is that if you have a pair of bone armor pants with awesome skill mods , you cant wear them thinking your boots will protect you because equiping the bone pants will reactivate that slot as a potential damage spot .

Also NS Bicep pieces will cause incoming damage to go the bicep causing an armor hole. I'm sure there must be other pieces though. Always test new clothing to make sure it wont cause a hole.
