Styphathal.. you mean a server side check to make it so you dont receive information about players unless you already see them? So they have to be within a specific range and have to be in your line of sight (no buildings in the way)... that would cause too much server lag.

I don't see why the dev's couldn't make it so the server checks to see if you can see the person in stealth or not, and then only send the information the client needs (not the details on the stealthed person).

Daoc did this just fine with their stealth system, they didn't send info on the stealthed people to people who couldn't see them.

Makes sense to me. Sigh.. they probably will never do this anyway.
