Thread: Tips to Kill Baz Nitches!?

I'm on Bloodfin. I'm walking around with 3 T21s in my inventory right now. It's all about making friends with as many Master Weaponsmiths as you can...and doing them favors when you can.

The "resource bug" is just the constantly shifting resources on the planets. Sometimes certain minerals required for the better guns (i.e. the T21s) disappear, so only people who pulled some up and didn't use it will have any. This is why the T21 is so overpriced lately. I got my last one really cheap because I tracked down a bunch of the minerals myself for the Master Weaponsmith, and brought him extras to use for himself.

LOL at pire, that is the worst method I ever heard..............................MS/HS combo, with a DlT 20a to plug headshots are way better than your **edit**fest of a way to kill them.................

Looking at you method Pire...how much exp are you making an hour? I'm not busting on it or anything, but if I went that route, even with a T21, hoping for a string of conceal shot in one HAMarea would be :

1. HAM inefficient as hell

2. I would imagine taking forever

3. Alot of trips from the coning facility

I make approx 125k an hour doing baz's....not great but not bad...basically breaks down to 1 every 2.1 mins, and I don't ever really need to stop for my mind bar....

And also make sure you press the Peace button after you fire the Warningshot. If you dont hit the Peace button, he will run right back at you

Ahh thats the key I was screwing up. Thanks, I'll try the pease button tonight. I kept getting him either charging me or running for the moon.

Thanks for the post guys, for new riflman it realy help with the tricks.

Last night I went prone and covered, then just unleashed concealshots until it was dead. I did several like this and none of them ever moved more than their random wandering.

It may take longer, but there's no accidentally running into a herd of witches due to pop-up lag, and there's no reliance upon the not always 100% effective warning shot.

Some people say conceal shot isn't guaranteed, but in my experience, the only time it fails, is when it misses. Since it's conceal shot, who cares if it misses, the nitch isn't aggroed on you anyway due to the nature of the attack.

I've got 600 willpower and focus, plus the refresh time on the attack, makes for little downtime. For grins, I send in a pet at the end to get CH XP, but it's not needed.

You too huh Rralvecca?

I just dont see how using Concealshot on the Baz Nitches is advantageous to you. I cold kill 3 Baz Nitches in the time it takes you to kill 1. Sure I risk the random popup of running into some hostile creatures, but man... its only like 800 meters from the Outpost if you die. And to be honest, I have only had that creature popup thing happen to me once. If you do the Warning shot right, time it right, you wont have to run very far to avoid the little piggies.

Trust me man. You are wasting your time with Concealshot. You'd be leveling real fast if you dump that tactic and start in on what I suggested.

Salomon,

Do you think I could tackle these things with only Rifle Specialist? I know it might take me quite a bit longer as I only have Mindshot1 but I still have the Warning shot. I am only 20k away from Novice Rifleman

Currently I use a really crappy Laser Rifle (9 - 232 spd 7) I really need to get a new one. Whats the minimum Laser Rifle stats and DLT20 stats I should get to tackle them?

I have seen a couple of T21's on Gorath but I certainly haven't seen one I could buy yet.

Anyways, what do you suggest?

Honostly, the T21 is not the best rifle for this kind of thing. It's too slow.

I haven't tried killing a Baz with just my rifle (I switch to my sword once they agro), but if I did, I'd do it like this:

Go prone and use the T21 to apply Mindshot2 and Mindshot1. Then start running cause this is about the time they agro.

Switch to a good E11 rifle and start doing Warning Shots and Headshots.

I think that would work.

I wouldn't try doing the whole fight with the T21 because it's too slow to use for Warning Shots and still have time for anything else.

Ok. I see your point. One question though. If you are drawing multiple Baz Nitches at once, do you have to Warningshot each one to get them to turn around and run? Or does the Warningshot effect each Baz Nitch running after you? I have never tried to deal with more than one at once. They are a little bit faster than me... not much, but a little. I find that I can rape a single Baz Nitch no problem... but multiples are another story. I know wut its like when i attack the lair and have 5 or 6 of those little piggies after me.

I think I will do what you suggested. Get 3 or 4 Laser Rifles and have each sliced to get a good max damage slice. And btw... what profession is the one who creates the weapon powerups. No one on the forums seems to want to answer me on this.

I'll be nice salomon and amswer your question, lol, Weaponsmiths make Weapon Upgrade kits, Artisans make weapon powerups.

Oh, by the way, I usually do that whole warning shot yo-yo and am quite tired of that, i'm going to try that conceal shot method, that way at least all I have to do is press conceal shot like, 20 times and just watch to make sure I dont get aggro'd.

Doesn't anyone else agree that its alot more of a hassle to have to run back, headshot, headshot, headshot, warning shot, run toward, headshot, run back, headshot, headshot, headshot, warning shot, run toward, headshot, run back headshot, headshot, headshot, warning shot, run toward, headshot.....etc...(Not EXACTLY what I do, but you get the idea), than to just go prone, cover, and queue (microsoft word says thats how to spell queue) Aim and conceal shot? Even if it is random bars, it will take what,a coupleminutes or so longer if you're reallyunlucky and it drains all 3 bars really low? yeah...

I dunno though...thats just my opinion...

They can be found on Dathomir--you can catch transport there from Corellia.
