t21 wont be fixed for a while hell most server dont even have them so they wont be fixing a wep few people have sigh

This sentence and answer makes no sense. Yes to what...it helps or hurts. No, I don't want to read your entire post.

i'm a rifleman too, but all this whining really got to stop.


i'm sure we all want to oneshot ppl all the time.. but come on, its not gonna kill pvp. as it stand right now, we'd probly lose to a lot of one on one stuff.. but in KvK, our mind damage is ESSENTIAL. with uber medic everywhere, we're the only ones that are really doing anything real on the battlefield.


u wanna make us be able to oneshot everyone on top of that?


the 75% reduction is a great change, and i'm really glad its implemented...


not too sure on the 50% damage when knocked down crap...


and i really hope they use 50% of their HAM when doing knockdown =P but that probly won't happen.. (not 50% anyway)


the point is that, now no one can one shot anyone else... meaning everytime ppl hit another, u can heal it.. except for us!.. (and BH and swordsman). our damage will go on untouched. thats our power.

Saying "fight with a group" is stupid.A sniper is solo. Scouting, harassing, etc.


I don't think we'll have a problem solo, I think we'll be fine. Just pack stims and you can go the distance while your opponent cant (can't heal mind damage). We'll be able to do just what we're supposed to - go in, stick a bleed and a couple HS3s, retreat, rinse, repeat. That's what snipers do. Anyway, I just want to point out that "fight with a group" is not a valid argument. If we wanted to be a support class we would have played medics.

Actually, traditionally snipers aren't solo. They work with teams, spotters, and forward support.

Do they rush into the battle and open up full auto? No.

The work in pairs so they have a guy with them to look for things they can't watch while making their shot, to protect them if their position comes under fire, and basically--to protect that shot.

Marine snipers usually work in pairs, or as an attachment to a larger unit. SWAT snipers work in multiples as well, and are reinforced by half the police force and at least one entry team. In WWII, while our sniping skills were very lacking compared to other countries, our snipers rarely worked outside their unit. They always had reinforcements to protect them and their precious skill.

The solo sniper is more of an idea propagated by movies.
