On Eclipse server, I have found MULTIPLE vendors that sell Laser Rifles with UN-sliced max damage around 401. Buy several of these if you can afford it (they run 8-10K each) and go get them sliced.

I received a 30+% damage slice on one bringing it to exactly 530. Also have one at 528 and 526.

31+% powerups put these at over 700 max damage.
With bad luck, this can be expensive, but at least anyone can do it.

I hope in the future we see more Rifleman only weapons to compete with that.

Its amazing how much damage a level two marksman with rifle skillcan do with a good laser rifle. It is worth my time to check an see what novice rifleman will do. I turned level three rifle marksman last night and was hitting creatures for near 3000 hp on overcharge. yeah im wasting my rifle, but it was cheap. Mind shot 2 is amazing you guys definetly own the distance game.

This thread sucks, and we all now that Laser Rifles are ap0 and never exceed 300 damage.

My best is 117-802 5.6 ....but the freaking mind ham is is 85 i think,...Its almost unusable without mind buffs. Have it 7k+ but who needs it.....Master Riflemen Jawa Ion who the heck needs a t21.....Jawa>all....Yes PvP but so many things out there have no resists to stun I seem to own all with it.

the best rifles always seem to be the 'legendary' NPC loot drops off high end mobs..

I dont think it matters, its a player crafted item i have, so they make good stuff, i also have a player crafted Dh17 SnubNoseCarbine that does almost a bit more damage than a laser carbine, but almost no ham costs, an sliced to 1.3 speed jhehehehe an this is a carbine 1 weapon, nice! although paid 360k for it, did carbine 1-4 nice n fast.

still nice to know what people on other servers are getting, the thing that irks me is a master marks man can use a really good sliced laser and a rifleman doesnt do better with his class specific weapon..

There is a downfall to the higher damage weapons though, the HAM costs are ALOT higher, even with using mind reduction powerups on the gun, i lose about 150 + doing a special, which is wow,

Using two as my main guns right now, both started out 400 max damage at 5.8, one got a good speed slice and one a good damage slice. So they are now:

508 max @ 5.8 (673 max w/32% powerup)
400 max @ 3.9 (2.6 as w/32% powerup)

Yes, 2.6!! woot.

Is slicing a once only option for weapons? I've only recently had my weapons sliced, and I've been playing for about 5 weeks now. So, I'm still somewhat of a n00blet.
