Ummm...My FWG5 made from Kryayt tissue is 50-390 .9 speed.....i feel for you rifleman, I was once a rifleman myself..but alas no more.

Well, technically, in SWG terms, a Marksman with rifle III is not a "Rifleman"

Life gets a lot easier once you hit rifle IV as a marksman. Laser rifle works wonders on PvE, which is where you get xp. You also get Mind Shot, a damage over time special. You should be able to get 1.5K to 2k rifle xp per kill, though you will take naps often.

Get better weapons, and play around with supporting abilities for yourself. I can Mask Scent, Heal myself, make my own high grade power ups. All these help being a successful rifleman.

What's the rush anyway? I got Rifle IV with a CDEF I made myself, without even trying. Collecting organic resources was my main aim at the time.

Personally, I like the challenge and resourcefulness one must use to be a rifleman. But then again, I don't go for the k3wl d00d l33t m4sta-sn1pp4!!! thing.

I've had moments in PvP where I will be prone firingheadshot3 at a stationary player 64m away. (the ideal range for my T21) The other guy is a combat medic, just standing there tossing ranged heals and poisons, and I will miss 7 times in a row, then hit for 86, then he turns and hits me with his pistol (from 64m)6 times before I can get off another HS3,(not that it would have hit)leaving my health pool empty and me looking at the clouds.

My TKA buddy AND my pike buddy get more PvP kills than I do, and have fewer PvP deaths, so that's the route I'm going. Yep, you heard it, I'd rather PvP as a melee class than as a rifleman.

(oh yeah, they do better PvE too, due to the fact that they can fight more than just banthas and snorbals since they can actually get hit and live)

Sorry, I'm bitter. Maybe melee won't be any easier, but I can't imagine how it can be harder.
