Just for laughs, Seflyn, I ran the numbers. For you to shoot a no-armor critter with a Laser Rifle and get NO damage multiplier at all (Floaty Damage = Base Damage), that's the same thing as having 34% Energy Resistance.
So "Vulnerable" in this specific case means "34% Energy Resistance."
If you'd been using a T21, "vulnerable" would have meant "48.8% Energy Resistance."
Neat, huh?
While Ibelieve you're right about it not being no resist that bugs AP, and is in fact whenthe target isvulnerable, I don't understand why then AP does notworkonplayers wearing no armour.
I think it's quite clear now that AP not doing bonus damage on a vulnerable mob is a bug. ![]()
IN PVE :AP works everytime EXEPT when a mob is vulnerable to what you shooting it with, then the AP bonus vanish, seems a weel known bug now.
IN PVP : AP DOESNT WORK.
as simple as that.
If your AP doesnt work for you in PVE we obviously not playing the same game, or maybe get rid of your AP0 DTL20, I dont know.

ok, I shoot tabage and krahbu all the time with my T-21 (a bit much but sometimes I'm in a hurry)
Floaties over the Krahbu (light armour) are multiplied vs combat chat.
Floaties over the Tabage (no armour) are not.
Resists are the same and they are similar HAM. I think the "no armour" bit is happining in PvE too. Most of the big stuff has at least a little armour. Has anyone tried this on big, no-armour stuff?

Stats for the tabage:

Based on this, the Base Damage from shooting a Tabage with a T21 should be multiplied by an RAF of 1.660 to give you the Floaty Damage.
Test data:
http://www.erols.com/aburner/swg016.jpg
Base Damage = 1915
Floaty Damage = 3179
3179/1915 = 1.660
Looks like it works to me.
