How much do u guys think this thing will cost when the initial rush is over? 50K? 100K?

from the look of it, it might replace T21 as the top gun for rifleman.

Tortilla refrain from libeling one of the most "old" and respected riflepeople of this board-BarbWire.

We all ,including you know its either a scam or an illegal weapon. So next time dont insult one of our own because riflemen stick with eachother and it might turn against you.

...and thats why were the best forum in the whole system

If someone sells him the schematic and the items used to create it to him, is he at fault for making them? You're assuming he either committed the exploit himself, or paid someone to commit the exploit for him. A good solution to this problem would have been to have the person who actually committed the exploit (going into the cave) banned. If he hadn't bought the schematic and started producing the rifles, someone else would have. You can question a businessman's morality, but unless he was the actual exploiter, I don't see what wrong he's done.

He's a well-respected weaponsmith on Bria, and one of the few surviving ones to make truely legendary weapons. As far as I'm concerned he's a legit guy. He's lasted through several big weaponsmith controversies on our server, and the only way he could have done it was to be legit. While it might have been smarter to sell the rifle once the cave officially opens, unless he himself went into it and committed the offense, I won't hold an ounce of spite for him for selling it early. Find the exploiter in the equation and ban them instead.

thanks for the kind words

my original post i edited because it wasnt such a kind post heh. but i revised it immediately and said what was on my mind in a non-flame manner. if tortilla has a legit method of gaining such a schematic i and every other rifle user would love to know it. but i seriously doubt this is the case.

extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Tortilla claiming to have such a weapon requires such proof that it is a legit item. if i dont see such proof... next time i see him in game advertising it i will report it under the exploit function in the holocron and let the CSR deal with it.

my opinion-- it's a scam.

a couple of points of note:

1. since when do weapons list the certification skillbox required in the description

2. devastating is misspelled-- in fact, the whole flavor text paragraph reads like it was written by a 15 yr old. it's not even close.

looks like a really good job of photoshopping to me.

The new weapons do have it. You can only use them at specific points in the elite profession trees.

Tortilla is a legit seller.... for the most part. His weapons are good, and he doesn't overcharge on most of the stuff. The exception being legendary weapons. He's sold Krayt T-21's, the Nightsister Lance (the one with the electricity coming out of it... its a schematic drop) and Slugthrowers in the past... all for outrageous prices. He buys the schematics and such for relatively cheap (on the 1-5million credit range) and then turns around to sell the weapons for 10-15million.

While this schematic and the components are almost certainly gotten through exploit, he more than likely just bought the stuff from the exploiter.

The other thing worth noting, this might be an auction for the now defunct Bria Test Center.

Onichi,

a krayt t21 is still a T21-- it's a legal weapon. The disruptor rifle has NOT been released to live yet. Everyone knows it.

If tortilla made with with a schematic, he made an ILLEGAL weapon, using ILLEGAL components. it doesn't matter if he exploited to get the schematic or bought it from someone who did.

if i were on bria, i'd report him in a heartbeat.

FYI: tortilla, i put up a second post in your auction admitting that the item was probably real (that the schematic from test center had the same mispelling and flavor text), but that it was still a weapon not yet released to live servers. so stick it in your pie hole.

If your caught riding around in a stolen car by the police can you honestly tell them "I knew it was stolen, but I didn't steal it - I bought it from the guy who did" and expect to get away with it? This WS is just as much of an exploiter as the person who originally got this schematic, assuming it was earned with an exploit. If there is a legitimate way of obtaining this schematic, I'm sure we'd all like to know.. but really, who actually thinks that to be true?

BlasterForHire,

I wasn't defending the fact of "How" he got the schematic just that if he say's he has it, then I believe he has it.. I know it's not supposed to be available yet and if it was aquired in an illegal manner then I'm all for the proper action to be taken. I just wouldn't want to report anything until I have all the facts. I haven't been able to play for a couple of days because of work commitments but as soon as I can I will find out.

On another note, I thought this was supposed to be our close ranged weapon. When instead it's a better alternative to the e11. I was really hoping for that +1 to point blank and +10 to ideal or so for when the melee guys get a little too close.
