More master cert'ed weapons please, seriously, it's retarded. Now that you can use cross-profession specials, the only practical way is to use your highest DPS weapon (whatever that is). At the moment, DPS is basically the only attribute which counts. I admit I haven't seen a post-CU crafted weapon, maybe some get accuracy bonuses or whatnot, but in the end it's all about damage really, considering you can stack offensivemodsto the moon and back.

The lack of a clearly defined role is not only a rifleman problem, it's the same with all proffesions. You can be a rifleman/pistoleer, except you're not really a pistoleer because you'll always carry a T21 (as I said, from a practical point of view, doesn't apply if you're in love with your weapon or something).

Post CU I think it is more correct to see yourself as ranged or melee specializing in one weapon.

I agree we need more master/higher level weapons. The DXR6 shoudl be moved higher up and give it acid elemental damage as well. There are too many weapons which are grinding weapons only and to little diversification among weapons. Why use a T21 when an ALR has higher dps? There are no benefits using a T21. Elemental damage is one way to diversify weapons. Or make the caps different so some weapons (for example T21) can have a higher damage cap but lower speed cap, but the ALR has a lower damage cap but higher speed cap (well meaning it is faster).

Also there should be more diversification on other base stats. Some weapon having a much higher base accuracy, lower sac etc. Now all weapons starts at same level when i comes to accuracy. The only thing cnanging this is if the weapons have scope or not.

The worst flaw in the CU design is that the balance is to much about balancing grinding (for example capping lower level weapons) rather than balancing for finished templates. It seems like the design is to stall grinding and not make it possible to gridn quickly using a uber dlt20 for example.

Any chance they could modify concealshot and snipershotto fireONE bolt ? Not much of an improvement but at least coverwould be half as useless as it is now in pvp

They want the particle effect to allow for players to find you. So probably not. It is a balance issue.
