Come on guys get real mastering 1 weapon that is not even well suited for 1 on 1 duels is in no way shape or form supposed to == an X-4-4-4 BH who for all intents and purposes is a master at dealing insane damage to 1 target. They hunt single targets, thats what they are made for. Rifleman are both single and multiple foe classes, hence why we have so many AoE attacks. If you want to be the king of 1 on 1 go BH. If you want to be flexible and good(not great) at both 1 on 1 and 1 vs many and many vs many go rifleman. You can even take other classes (*gasp* what a concept)to help out such as carbineer which will increase your 1 on 1 power significantly or pistoleer which will help out in PvE. Its an old argument but in the end its what everything boils down to 92 combatskill credits != 217 combat skill credits. and if your dieing to eyeshot then you just plain suck, my composite helm is 82% resistant to acid, i get hit for pittons when they use eyeshot on me. Stop sniffling and get the right equipment for the job instead of expecting a title to do all the work for you.

how is that any different than pistolwhip+bodyshot3 or stoppingshot??? what about BH that get a KD and a dizzy in the same special + LLCsingle2??? carbineers can do it also. it is a central point of TK and melee weapons. if a dizzy KD sticks it is game over for whoever gets hit. why would it require a nerf to rifle if rifle gets some sort of KD?? if you want just raw PVP power get carbineer KD and go comando for the FT...

course you could just get a pet that does posture down special moves also...

Umm because BH spend lots of skillpoints for KD + LLC.

I thinkyou just pointed out why rifle doesn't need a KD move, if you want one so badly take up carbine.

Pistolwhip+bs3 doesn't even come close to the damagea MRM with a decent rifle would do.

Really at master level if your losing to BH and commando's consistantly you need to look at your tactics. I PvP daily and I win at least 90% of the time. Only time I lose is if I get hit with a KD fire and I can't get up in time. Or ifa commando G-tefs me and gets liek 5 m away and flames me.

Good PvP story.

I go to AH solo a lot and I own there a lot. Well finally a commando got a g - tef on me and flamed me at 10m I was incapped. SO instead of killing me honorably they were gunna be asses and let me get incapped 3 times to death. So as time ticked away they talked trash about owning and what not, so at 0 I stood up poped a stim D real quick and SS2 to both of them, 1, 2, shots later both were incapped and flaming me. Now these wheren't push overs. There was a expert BH and a Master Commando. So they were claiming not being ready and blah so they were put on ignore and I moved on and killed more, a master CH and the rancor, a master Combat Medic and some pistoleer's of different skill levels. Oh and this is me with ONLY a t-21 and some bleed resistant clothes I hate armor, and we don't have t-21's yet.

I dont see how a rifelman could win against a BH with KD Fire. I am Rifelman and master carbinier. And a BH needs only like 2-3 secs to have me on the floor. Could be because those are dabblers with speed and accurancy of BH and Carbinier but still i dont see much of a Chance.

Rifleman takes carbine aswell and knocks the BH down first...Rifleman ambushes and gets the first shot off...rifleman doesn't try to go toe to toe in a duel with a bh but rather bleed and move out of range....Bunch of different strategies come to mind its all about getting experience. There is no sure way of beating a BH but its always a possibility. The BH was supposed to be the overall best 1 on 1, go against a smart one and the odds are always stacked against you.

i have both classes... maxed combat bh on kauri, rifleman on scylla.

my bh loses to master riflemen at least half the time. basically, its less than a 50/50 proposition. IF the MR misses his first Strafe2, and IF my first KD hits, i win. else, master rifle wins.

someone who's not near master rifleman, on the other hand, is pretty weak. so, if you want to make that argument, i'd listen. once rifle special abilites 4 and counter sniping 3 are attained, though, you're golden. that gives you high damage aoe attacks at relatively low speeds with laser rifles.

for real? you have a master BH on another server and he loses to master riflemen?

Then I'm sufficiently humbled... although we suck before we hit master, if we can kill master BHs even half the time while spending a good 25% less skillpoints on mastering rifleman(everyone needs scout skills anyway) then thats pretty good

although its wierd how most of the emphasis is placed on countersniping 3 with flushingshot2 and master rifleman with strafeshot2, which are both random pool attacks (hit health mostly, then action, then least of all mind)

the reason we have so many disadvantages, what Holo said anyway, is because we hit mind.

**edit** I think I need to lay off the muon... I'm hallucinating, right? This has to be some sort of weird alternate reality.

The patch afterany patch that includes a KD for rifle would include a rifle nerf.

holy Crap. Harpoon, i'm impressed, i will hold off on the /idiot comments now. It's good to see you believe someone when they say something positive about or profession.

If i had known that all it would take is a BH to say he's lost to rifleman consistantly, i would tell a bunch of BH's i dueled on the weekend to come in here and tell you first hand! (Actually, i even took screenshots of the chat/combat logs for you , lol, i just haven't reduced their size to post them yet).

but anyways, cool.
