The problem is that the Bowcaster is supposed to be the wookiee weapon of choice. Since it is not comprable to other things out there, it is not this wookiee's weapon of choice. I personally feel to align with continuity that the Bowcaster should be slower and do more damage than a pre nerf T21. The **edit** thing needs to be cocked by someone with wookielike strenght for god sakes, it shouldnt be fast. BUT, it is however firing explosive magnetic quarrels(bolts). It should be doing both Kenetic and Energy/blast damage and have really high Max/Min damage, somthing like 500-900, 8-10 speed.

pssh I am a master rifleman wookie, I think we are fine yes we can't use armor... and I made a wrong choice in char but whatever,... get some muon gold or food/drinks... then get a good dmg sliced T-21 and strafe 2 like mad, I don't consider myself a combat role after attaining master rifleman (or even just mastering special abilities + counter-snipe) because in my mind I think of us as a one man army *( I use muon gold)*

Very eloquent points Sotaudi. I just have one point. Wookies make and use bowcasters. The bowcaster is a rifle. Wookies according to the EU are very deadly with their bowcasters. Bowcasters use rifle specials....

According to your argument, Wookies are inferior race to choose when persuing the rifleman profession. Its very sad to see a Wookie that cannot effectively use the weapon he was destined to use since birth.

I am doing pretty good as a wookiee rifleman. Most rifleman (not all of them) dont wear any armor anyways.

Think positive .. if you were for example a wookiee pistoleer or carabineer it would be MUCH worse (just imagine being wookiee pistoleer fighting another pistoleer in full composite).

Saying this ..

1) Bowcaster definetely needs some love.
2) /wookieeroar needs to provide better mind buff then +20 (which is laughable), also I wish it worked on some higher mobs then durnis, gobburs and womp rats .

Also .. with possible AP improvements coming, I wish some wookiees improvements got introduced before the damage to our race is done ...

Alot of Rifleman I know wear full composite Armor, maybe not tripple layered stuff, but Advanced Composite Encumberance Sliced, The mind and secondary mind penalties can be stiff (around 300s) but it is not something insurmountable or even a hinderance.

Using even Angerian Fishak Surprise before a combat engagement can give you a considerable boost to mind (around 500). Add Musican buffs for secondary stats, (food Drugs seem kinda busted :/)

Regardless it is possible to fight effectively in full comp armor with a Jawa/Laser in PvP and PvE even without buffs.

This adds to the wookie plight, Wookies would need tons more stats to be competitive if they can't wear armor.

For instance, I accept that a couple of other races have better base mind stats than does mychosen human character. As a rifleman, I would have been better off choosing one of those races. However, I wanted to be a human, so I just accept that there are other races than may have been more compatible with my profession goals.

Humans I think have the best possible mind stats....

1100 Mind 1100 Focus 800 Willpower is possible with 400 in everything else... granted I hope your a doc or a TKA if you go that route but that makes wearing armor very feasible no?
