here is a good way to do it...
find a dragon.
having brought a T21 made with stock and maxed for damage and damage sliced and damage powered up, and a t21 designed for low ham and damage and sliced for damage; start by applying 2 mindshot2 and setting your rancor on it. then apply the mindshot1 both MS2 and 1 are done with the high damage T21 or laser if you like to gamble. then switch to the lower damage lower ham cost t21 and HS2 till either your rancor goes down or the krayt does.
keep an eye on the rancor and it is possible to recall him and slap a stimC and a petstim on him to keep him going. doing that is dangerous since the krayts do AOE attacks. best method is to tell ur pet to follow another animal or object and that limits the times a krayt can hit him by half. keep your pet going from object to object. it is also wise to have ur pet doctor stat increased, especially the secondaries before hand.
anything less than a krayt can be solo'd with just warning shot and whatever attack you want.
