This one's not a programming bug, it's a logcal bug.

I think the Devs are right, that it is 'Working as intended' as mentioned, it's logical bug, though not reallya bug. Allow me to explain...

You have a T21 that has AP3 and uses Energy, you have the Disruptor Rifle which uses Acid (forgot what AP it is) anyway...

You have a creature that has light armor and has 20% Energy Resistant but is vulnerable to Acid...

You shoot at it first with the T21... now due to the T21s AP, the creatues ER basically is overridden as the piercing rips through it's armor and thus causes more damage due to it shattering the armor resistance (as someone else explained with the bullets and AP bullets).

You shoot then with the Acid rifle... now due to the creature being vulnerable to Acid, the armor basically isn't taken into account coz it's as much use as the creature wearing some normal clothing. Thus it don't shatter thus not causing anymore damage to the creature.

Fair enough that brings the question, why use a Disruptor rifle... well it's all to do with the resistance I guess, if the creature had a higher energy resistance... say 60%+ and had some decent armor then it's acid vulnerability comes into its own... because it's like the energy firing weapon becomes a small pickaxe chipping awayat awall whilst ya acid drills through the wall like a powerdrill.

Hope you understood those metaphors there
