Thread: Master Rifleman vs Nightsister Elder?

ive seen master riflemen just lay down and take cover, and lay there for an hour killing an edler, although it works. - Right now im working on master rifleman, im master swords now as well, so that should be an excellent combo for killing elders, bc PH have blast dmg which they are weak against, and my 712 max dmg t21 with its heavy AP should do some decent dmg, Althoughi have a question, when ever i take cover to say....kill a rancor, eventually it attacks me, why?

No you didn't.
Some of us Mastered Rifle when we took 2.5x dmg from melee attacks.
Mastering Rifle is a piece of cake now.
So thats why those freaking kreetles kept killing me!

Would that be fair if you could just sit down and take cover and never risk your life?

Because Taking Cover doesn't stop you from being attacked, well not until after your 5 free shots from being prone or so. But so things don't aggro you, you have to use conceal shot.

the best way to kill ns elders fast and safe is go with master tka and let him be human punching bag. Then spam shoot head hit 3 between rifleman buddy and me we kill an ns elder in about 5 mins. I am taunt ns enough rifle buddy does not even wear armour or get agro.
Btw since last patch it does make difference whether you equip range weapon or melee weapon when it come to amount of dam mobs do to you. I am master pistoleer and Master Tka when I have vk in hand I can tank an elder easy 15 mins and never risk dieing minute I wield pistol damage I receive more than doubles and even with 1000 power d stims are not enough to keep up with dam.

with conceal shot, a good mind buff, a doc, and some drugs, you can solo anything you want. as long as you dont miss and you have plenty of time.

And it doesnt get a -1 bleed and no random spawns drop on your back and no jokers run up durring said hour and try to attack whatever your concealing or that no one mob trains you for being a self-edit trying to get bragging rights instead of getting a group of friends and just wasting it ya you should be able to solo it with conceal just fine 
A capper spineflap hits you for 196 damage, then calls his friends!

Oh, and I hope none of you forgot the 'fix' to the pathing issues they put in shortly after release

Not to hard.. I did it yesterday in 15min with conceal shot. Was just a spur of the moment thing didnt think i would get her without a bleed pooping up at all.
