I recently had my stats migrated to up my mind, makes a work of differance. I can spam Headshot3 with my T-21 for almsot forever without my armor on. unbuffed, solo. UH-RAH!
I not estimaete I can go after level 35 creatures unarmored and unbuffed, and up to 40 solo, and i havn't even mastered a skill yet

Yeah but conceal shot is SO slow until you hit the third speed box. Still, it is your only hope of big game hunting without armor/buffs. You just lug along a trusty T-21 (no stock, that adds wAAAAY too much to ham costs for little real benefit), plunk down 66m away, takecover, sneak up to range and start plugging away with conceal shot. Slow, painfully so, but you can drop anything using barely any HAM (as long as you take a shot of brandy every 30 min. or so) and little danger of dying. Just remember to keep a bike out and have burst run to it handy.
Oh yeah, also, Gurreck prowlers WILL spot you no matter what you do. Dunno if being a Ranger mitigates this, but those buggers can outrun anything but a Swoop...and even then you better not make any unecessery turns/course corrections.

Hi,
I got my new Hunting armor last night, and the stats are really sweet. (I'm at work and i can't remember the exact stats, but it was something like 80% kinetic, 58% energy and on most other things).
Any way i was unable to wear it all together because of the encumberance penalty. However I'm a master smuggler as well as master rifleman, so I sliced every piece with encumberance slices - all of them over 34% (Sweet - I love it when that happens!) After it was sliced I could easily put it on.
I spent the next few hours on Tattooine killing everything I found.... Generally i was using conceal shot and my T-21 to soften them up, and then finishing them off with non specials.
If I get buffs I tend to switch to a spraystick, and spam on Headshot 3.... they increased speed of the spray stick (Speed 1.3) seems to really know the mobs about.... but with out being buffed it takes me out in no time as well...
