And do the elders have 100% energy resistance? I hate that. I freakin' hate that.

I have gotten interestingweapon loot of of Enraged Rancors, but it's not very often, so don't go expecting to rake it in.

The medium level Nightsisters come in a couple of "flavors"... one for melee and one for rifleman. Rifleman should stay clear of the Nightsister Stalker, I think... 100% resist to most things rifle. I am at work, but if I remember right, the Nightsister Rangers and the Elders are both Rifleman fodder... with the Ranger being much much easier.

You might do a search on Rifleman forum for Threads whose topics contain the word "NS" or "Nightsister".

THe couple of elders I ran into didnt have 100% Energy resists. Everything but Energy and I think Blast ....but there resistance was still pretty high.

Elders have 25% energy resists (and blast too I think), everything else is at 100%. If you have a tank, it goes down in no time with a T21, otherwise it's pretty hard to solo with a rifle, I'd say impossible(not counting concealshot, I don't have a fetish for punishment lol).

There are ways to solo elders without tanks. --it depends on secondary skills. I have Feign Death from the Smuggler Tree, and I was able to Solo one without a tank, but had to feign death 3 or 4 times to regen my HAM bars. I think you can do it without FD if you know how to use your bike effectively. But be careful... these testy females just love to destroy bikes, and its usually a long walk back to civilization!
