Leveling a rifle guy right now and have been hopping around trying to see what's not only fast exp but fun as well. Bah, quenkers, bah So, anyway, what I've found right now that I'm enjoying almost too much is to head to the Imp/Reb battlefield north of the Stronghold on Corellia and find a spawn point for storm troopers. Right now I've got a spot where 4 spawn, I kill and loot them, 4 spawn, repeat ad infinium. Really don't even have enough time to get back into position before the next group spawns. Solo, with a pet grouped but nowhere near me, I get around 3600ish rifle exp per trooper, and they go down really easy since I went the old "get headshot 3 first" way. I had enough combat exp from being a master swordsman to get all the speed boxes before I got a box of anything else, which was nice, I admit.

The bonus of this method over quenkers is that there is no travel time between missions, you get loots (have gotten some pretty good things off these guys as far as I'm concerned, +4 AA and such. Have gotten much better things off of the stormtroopers down at the Stronghold (on Ahazi it's imp controlled) but pretty good stuff), as well as cash and a seemingly endless stream of faction points. I don't know how far up I rank on the Reb army tree, but all I've spent my faction points on is ascending that ladder so far.

Anyway, to recap: Use a speed T21 (old news), head shot 3, high energy resist armor (thinking of getting an advanced bone set made just for this (and kicks), and buffs. I can getover 500K rifle expin an entertainer buff session (think less than 2 hours) doing this. Plus, hell, what did those quenkers ever do to you?

Ding Ding Ding!!!!! That's how i did it for the most part.

As for the quenkers.... they had good meat on Corbntis not too long ago. LOL

that doesn't work well for imp rm, cause you get owned by turrets, at least on the chim equivalent of that. anyone know of similar battlefields without the reb turrets?

Hrmmm, I know I've seen guys killing the Rebel troopers there. They were pulling them behind the hut, maybe that blocked the turrets LOS? Not sure. What I didn't know was that you can't attack someone if you both just have a TEF. Apparently, one of you has to actually be overt. All I know is that I had a TEF, and that guy had to have had a TEF because he was killing the rebs, but I couldn't attack him.

Anyway, no, not too sure about a similar spot sans reb guns.

Ok, i've tried that today and i can just confirm it Well, i wasn't able to get the 500k xp in the two hours, but mainly because i was trying to get down that %#!$ AT-ST who was constantly shooting in my back But after nearly three ours i had my approx. 470k xp to learn two boxes ...

Yeah, but i'm sure you already mastered your profession But the topic says "Best way" not "Fastest way" ... And i have to admit i never had so much fun during the last weeks getting rifle xp I got good xp, a lot of adrenalin in my veins, a lot of faction points and some very good loot plus i have been able to toast my first AT-ST

Sure, if i'm in the mood of getting "fast" xp i'll go to Dant and clear some pickets/quenker/hurrton lairs, but that's no fun

yeah, killing turrets isn't really a problem with 80% nrg resist armor, but its just they dont give any xp, so its quite a bit of wasted time, and they respawn immediately.

So does this battleground work for imps too? As in an imperial who wants to kill rebels .

OK what might i be doing wrong?? I kill those too as well because i dont have to be in group to pull them. And thats what i leveled swordsman and fencer in. But can't seem to kill pickets fast enough. So share with us on how you do this this?? Tactics and all please.

Ok, get novice rifleman on normal quenkars or what not.

Then move up to flushing shot2, the cone attack. Dont go accuracy, you will find out in a second.

Get yourself some comp armor and a t21, speed sliced with speed pups.

Solo group and pull SAVAGE quenkar missions.

savage quenkars unlike normal quenkars will stay at 30m range and spit acid at you.

once ur at the mission, shoot the lair from 64m to agro everything.

run towrad the lair, through it, and out the other side, this will cause all animals to come to you position then follow you.

once at about 40m from the lair, all the quenkars will be in a small pile infront of the lair (which if u are using flushing on will have 100% to hit). a few shots and they are dead.

Boom next mission.

If you approach quenkars they will try to keep 30m distance between you, so you may need to herd them like sheep a little to have them all in one pile for the cone attack.

This is the way i did it, i know a friend who did it the old, accuracy and head shot way. I lvled 3x faster then he did.

This might be a way to master Rifleman faster; However, I don't think that's how we suppose to play like that. I always think that we are consider as sniper first, gunman second. I am having great fun with conceal shot, had enough xp to go up to 0003 first, then work my way to get the conceal shot, then just mask scence, kneel, and conceal away. It's great to kill critters 64m away without have to run around and worry about incap, of course i still have to worry about agro, but critters rarely agro at me. Recently, I just pick up CH, with BE pet lvl 14 that has 59% kinetic, i buff my pet all the secondaries, send him in and headshot 3 away, quite fun, and less lonely out in the woods. Beside, with my pet tanking, i have a chance of playing around with all the shot i have like suprise, flushing1 and startle, I had learn a lot of what shot to use in what situation and use RM to the max of benefit it offer.

Another thing, I could be wrong, but when i have conceal shot, i immediately switch from speed power up to damage power up, I am using a 133-390 T21 that has 6.4 sec speed, and since i switch from speed to damage, the critters seem to die faster.

As for the battlefield thing, the turrets wont hurt you if you're just inside the doorway of the base that is at the battlefield thing. Stand in there and spam at spawns outside and you can even macro it.
