I don't expect elite skills on froggies until the last week and as for jedi skills (the jedi curb testers a little before that)maybe the last day. They are trying to avoid the pvp fests that would occur with the opening of elite skills. I have no idea of the schedule but that seems the way things are going (so all of the above is just a guess and no real knowledge to back it up)

I used /cover, /cover was not clearing on standing up, running around, whatever, was not able to harvest hide because of still being under cover, CDT soon after, either corrupted some of my local files or the SOE database. My TC-Ep3 toon now has the default appearance in the character selection screen, and I CDT every time I try to log in - after all green bars are filled, I am back on my desktop. Full scan did not help.
SO - DO _NOT_ USE COVER! EVER!

That's a shame. One of the templates I figured we had to test was Rifleman/Ranger, but if /cover's not working (neither are mask scent and camo, apparently, just not as borked as cover), it sort of defeats the purpose.

Aye but, as a rifleman/bh, I would like to be able to db my marks.. I can live with triple incap in PvP or let the tank db, but we get payout upon DB.. so riflemen/bh are really penalized by the new system

This has been much discussed. The devs are pushing a progrouping agenda for PVP as well. That is you can knock em down but your tank DBs them. They also have no problem as far as I can tell with us just Triplecapping people.
btw:
- buffs no longer go away if you get killed - you clone with the buff intact (or rez)
- you can log out for a day with inspiration buffs still remaining and log back in and they still have the same time remaining

Devs have told the Chefs that it just works that way, nothing is going to be done about it. If you look in the Chef stickies you can find the quote.

Well,your mark isa Jedi, a melee character, probably with force run too. I don't think you'll be at much range if/when you manage to incap him/her.
