I have also been hunting for one of those. Been committing genocide against the NSs trying to kill their elders to get my hands on something like that, but never even once looted a rifle.

I hope its still at least able to kill a womprat
I have to say that, that gun is awesomely Nice.
I never had any use for T21's as they were to slow for me.
I thought I had an awesome Laser with mine being 665...lol, But I can honestly say,
You did right by putting your ADK on that.
I think the devs just need to leave well enough alone and stop this foolishness with their CURB.
No one likes it, and those that Claim to "love it" and "It's about time"
IMO are just brown nosing the devs to get brownie points.
I say this because I have seen so many people kiss up to the devs and than turn around
and post their bad mouthing about the devs.
Let's face it, we are all getting what the devs think of us that pay and play and that's all of us BTW..
we are being kicked to the CURB.
I've heard nothing but bad about the CU and 96% of the players don't like it.
They have nerfed us all since Launch, and they need to stop.
Sorry about the rant, but when we all work our butts off in game to get where we are now,
and out of game at our jobs to Pay for this, it's gets old.
Some of you can flame me if you want, but there has to be a stipulation on it. /evilgrin
you have to have Paid and Played since Launch.
Anyway, nice gun, would love to see a Laser rifle like that. lol
My Template btw is Master RifleWoman, Master Creature Handler, 2/3/4/0 in Medic and all 4 Force boxes in my FS Speed.
I like it just where it is, devs, leave it alone.

You ever watch cartoons, where Elmer Fudd is chasing Bugs Bunny and they run from like the Forest to a Desert? And Elmer Fudds weapon melts and falls to the ground in a puddle?
Or
When Bugs Bunny bends the barrels back to point at Elmer?
Or
When Bugs Bunny steals his gun, and Elmer starts crying, and then Bugs Bunny gives it back to him only now when he shoots it the little flag comes out that says "BANG"
All of these are possible conversions for your weapon.

Are these guns unbalancing? Yes. Are they amazingly unfair and win wars? Yes. Should they be that powerful after the CU? Yes they should. Yes these guns are crazy in their power and I would fear the man who has one, however they are SOOOOOOOOOOOO rare that it is not a big problem. I think that weapons like this should exist so that people have something to strive for, that there are BEST weapons and NOT BEST weapons rather than across the board uniformity. I do not have a legendary of excaptional weapon, I wish I did. But having something so difficult to get yet so powerful as a goal is great. I would be fine if the devs decided to make these weapons do the damage of other guns in PvP but what is wrong with having it in PvE? It is like winning the lotto, let the winner have their fun and let the chance exist that you could win also.

When you combine it with the possibility of SOE releasing an official virtual items-for-cash exchange, there's plenty wrong with a weapon like that in PVE. (Never mind that such transactions take place daily on an illegal basis through Ebay). The holders of such weapons will be able to effectively ensure that only those prepared to pay RL cash for top-end loot will be able to get it ingame. And that just ain't right.

The problem is that they're not that rare. Even if there's only 10 on a server (which is what I'd estimate are on Eclipse), it can prove to be a severe distrubance to the game. For instance, one person bought an exceptional T-21 for 50 million credits I believe. They then camped and got the looting rights on every single Acklay spawn for most of the summer and cornered the market, driving prices sky high. I think that CS finally intervened, but weapons like that can make the game not fun and therefore really shouldn't exist.

Ok, if we go with your argument then the same is true of mandolorean armor. This should not be in the game cause is it so rare that people can demand RL money for it in game. I find this to bea very poor arguement because this can be applied to any time. Any item can be purchased with RL money. Some, such as exceptional weapons and mando armor, make it more likely that RL money needs to be exchanged, but that does not mean that it has to be the case. If we go with your point of view, we would need to eleminate all the highest items in the game, bringing everyone more onto a uniform footing. And being the same as every other character is just not fun.

Thats true, and I cannot say its a good thing, it is obviously bad. The trouble is that there is no way to balance it properly. You could get a group of 5-10 people doing the same thing and the same result would ensue. Any scenario that can be thought of where a rifle like this would make a person completely own one area could be replaced with a skilled group of players. Imagine a group of 5 very powerful pleople camped Acklay (using no Exceptional or legendary weapons). They could still corner the market.
