Riflemen are supposed to be the nukers, thats our job, stop complaining, learn how to play your template

Does everyone in SWG fight in open fields?

I can't understand it, I thought that the idea of fighting across wide open spaces died out after the first world war?

If you start fighting someone across wide open spaces and you get killed by a rifleman I have no sympathy, you're meant to lose.

Try using the terrain to your advantage, run behind buildings, rocks, trees, etc. to remove the line of sight, the rifleman will either be forced to follow you around the corner to get LOS or maneuver into a position where they can see you. You will either get the time to heal or you will force the rifleman into your range.

Alternatively you could simply blow a whistle & charge the rifleman head on. You never know, they might not notice you.

I think Stopping Shot is totally imbalanced and the same with Disarming shot. Hell Warning shot is imbalanced too, same with intimidate shot, they all need time with the nerf bat IMO.

Then you run out of range and heal. Yes you can out run him. Once your healed use terrain and line of site blocking objects to close the distance on him then use your specials on him to keep him from firing. It's called TACTICS...

You should not be able to stack any type of states in PVE or PVP. There should be, and hopefullywill be, a timer for each state effect as there is for KD. Being able to stack dazes like AdvStartle or Disarming Shot is no fun to be truthful as there are no tactics or strategy involved. No thought involved. Hahahaha my target can't do anything, I win. Booooooring.

...........? are you kidding me?

Stopping, Disarm, Warning and intimidate are being "adjusted"? And If so how? I posted this post out of blind anger and an attempt to blow off steam, did'nt know I was close to something..........




I'm just tired of everybody screaming to flip combat around 180. The current combat system is the best I've seen in 2 years. The only issues I can see are that:


a) Much thought was not put into "Why would someone want to use weapon class x?" (Range limitsdon't solve that, anyone who believes 15m is gonna take away from carbines in combatis silly, they will be the next all-purpose weapon)


b) There are too many jedi, and this is really a cosmetics issue. Not really a combat one.

Please don't come to our forum and cry about something you don't understand. It is not rifleman that cause these issues. Infact it is more pistoleer then anything else. Pistoleer is the on with stopping shot, and disarming shot. Startle shot by itself will not cause you to not be able to heal or kd recover endlessly. This is a combination of charge (carbineer) or underhand (BH) then alternating chain of startle (rifle) and disarming shot (pistol) so in end result rifle skills was only used less then half the time. Also the last time I checked the more powerful and better rifle only carry a CL 54 and not a rifle cert. So tell me what makes rifleman to blame? Is it a rifle that anyone can use or the specials that do not even come from rifleman?
