For those of you who have all the state recoverys on your toolbar. Why not make a macro that runs through them all?

I use this macro

/dizzyRecovery;

/knockdownRecovery;

/blindRecovery;

/stunRecovery

Then you put that icon in your toolbar. 1 slot runs through all recovery abilities. All states are cleared and, 3 open slots for more food, stims, damage abilites. etc....

Even if that state isn't on you, dosen't matter. Just get a "wrong state" message.

Or just bind it to a key and free up even another space on your toolbar.

Hafta say, this is one of the most useful posts I've ever made. Thanks for the great information, everyone. I'm already busy making macros, keymapping them and trying different combinations of specials in my toolbar.

Here's another question: What do you keep in your secondary toolbars? That is, the toolbars that you can switch to by holding the mousewheel over your current one. On one toolbar, I've tried to put together a pistols macro that allows me to equip a pistol or two and then some of the specials I have being less than a full master pistoleer.

I've also got an emote toolbar which I think I've rarely used because I can't remember what most of them are and I don't want to hold down the arrow over them long enough to find out (*shrug* I don't roleplay with that stuff very often).

On one toolbar I've got the hilarious hump macro that somebody invented.

That's about it. Is there any sort of critical special or action that you would keep on a backup toolbar?

I got annoyed with recoveries taking up so many spots on my toolbar so i made a macro that does them all. Best idea i ever had, heh

My first toolbar is setup for PvE. Couple states, Couple high damage specials, couple action saving specials.

Second is a PvP setup. Different food from first. I dont PvP much so its just alittle different.

Third is all my weapons.

Fourth nothing. Fifth nothing.

Sixth. I carry 2 sets of armor. One Tantel set and one faction set. I have both sets and my clothes in this toolbar for quick change.

Hm... I prefer less macros. In some fights, I'd rather regen more action and just get up from knockdown, instead of removing all states.

For my rifleman, I have 2 sets. One is the "cover/conceal/movement set, where head shot, sniper shot, aim, stand/kneel/sit/prone, startle shot etc. are, together with different weapons and the vehicles, the other is the full combat one, where sniper shot and cover conceal got dropped in favor of smuggler specials and state recoveries.
