Those of you not loading a power ups are giving up 33% max damage.

Rifleman 1000, with laser rifle sliced for damage and max dam power up at676 max dam. 3.5K floaties with HS2. Best mind shot 2 was 1880ish bleed.

I'm not a master rifleman yet but with headshot3 I've got 3800 on a imperial medic(not the robot looking ones).

This was from 60-64m away using a T21 sliced for damage 134-364.

I thought it was **edit** good... but I see people doing 6k damage grrr, gotta try something else to get that up haha

Rue, I find that just barely possible to believe in PvE... so how could you have hit that in PvP?

Math:
653 x1.25x1.25x1.25 = 1300ish (AP3)
1300 x 5 = 6500 (strafe2)

What other multipliers are going on there?

Since the floatie number will vary depending on the mob's resitances, I will tell you that my 480 (max after 23% damage slice) damage laser has hit with Head Shot 3 for as much as 1700. I just got it sliced the other day, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it.

I also just picked up some powerups that increase the max damage to 608 - but I haven't fired it once. Either I ran out of goals for the day, or I had way too many things to do, so I'm done until tomorrow.

How manyKrayt dropsdoes a laser rifle need?

You should be able to hit for about 9000 with that laser on an AR0 target.

in combat window I hit for 4721, above the head of the creature I hit for 9.2k and some change. That was using strafe shot 2, pre nerfed t21 sliced and had a 31% max damage power up, weapon doing 174-834 damage.

i do as much as 4k a shot with a laser rifle. i have a laser that has base stats of 48(or50)-402 @ 5.8 speed, unsliced without powerup. thats on default HAM costs. i have another laser rifle that does 438 max dmg but has really high HAM costs so it isnt very usable. i also have 2 T21s and they kinda suck in comparison, i only brig em out to deal with things that have medium or heavy armor + resits. otherwise its just laser laser laser, occasional jawa rifle and spraystick.

my mainstay laser rifle is of course dmg sliced by a master smugler and i always buy at least 3 and use the best of the batch, and on top of that throw a 33%+ max dmg powerups which i buy in crates and use em always.

so you gotta find a weaponsmith that can make lasers with all advanced components. dont go for the ones that up the HAM costs or they will drain you so bad and so fast you wont be able to use em for more then a coupel shots.

I usually get around 1500-1600 on an unarmed target. I use a laser rifle with a scope. BTW is there a better weapon power up for a rifleman with a Laser rifle? I.E. coupler, muzzle, barrel...

Also, how can you tell what bonus a powerup will give you?

My T21has660 max damage (stock+damage slice+powerup).

I hit someone for 1311 in pvp last night with strafe2.

I 3-shoted a nightsister also today.

Of course my mind bar drops as fast as my ennemy HAM, but hey its dead and i'm not.
