Thread: Rifleman PVP tactics
as I am Teras Kasi Master, Master Rifleman, my tactic is pretty obvious ![]()
Mindshot 2, then I try getting in another Headtshot before they get closer, then i switch to unarmed, KD/dizzy and beat the **edit** out of them ![]()

I just made halfway rifleman (2/2/2/2),and my tactics have never been successfull. Usually I try to get in as many HS3's as I can. I don't have the speed to hit them with a stun shot first (though I will try with my spraystick, next time. Should work.), and bleeds are pointless in a quick battle.
I do have a question.
I found a T-21 on sale on the bazaar for 3k. SOLD!
This is my second T-21. The other is a 9.8 second 405 mx dmg that I got for free, but that's another story. Anyways, the stats on this T-21 are horrific. 460 mx dmg and 10.1 speed. Slow giant. How fast will I be able to shoot this thing as a master rifleman/master marksman? I.E., should I save it or use it now for PvE bleeds?
Save it for PvE bleeds.
You'll just get annoyed at it if you try to use it for normal use before master.
Alright.....I got to give the Jawa Ion Rifle a salute here.
Moenia, theirs this Teras Kasi Master Running around in full composite, and beautiful buffs, overt Imperial. Heres me, a overt rebelGuardian, with my fellow comrade in arms, Neosi Ice, staring him down. I pull out the good old T-21 and blast away at him, I git for about 900+ with two shots in a row.....I see his HAMbars barely move.
My fellow Guardian, Neosi Ice is blasting away has well, but hes a pistoleer, so doing less damage, and hardly touching him, composite on Starsider has just gottengodly these days. So, I remember I have two other rifles on me...a old SG-82(cold damage) and my brand new sliced jawa ion rifle. So..I pulled it out has Neosi is running like hell, getting his arse burned by the TKA at 2 meters range, and I fire five headshot 3's in a row, cutting through his buffed 2600 mind with armor like swiss chese.
A minute after it all started, it was over.
**edit** I love those litttle blue beams....**edit** I love my ion rifle.

Currently I'm packing a 131-271 jawa ion rifle with a 4.1 speed(with a damage powerup). It was speed sliced, I'm having a Karyt one made and hoping for a damage slice on it.
Its not the best, but it works, and its my new favorite gun with the armor here on Starsider.

Hey, answered my own question to a certain extent. Was getting chased all over Anchor by a TK / Combat medic / pistoleer. Darn guy, hit him with 2 good bleeds and a ton of head shots, but he kept on using mind stims. Then, he puts away the pistol that he was a really good shot with and knocks me down. See all types of TK moves on the combat screen and he is hitting fast. I jump to my feet, switch to the Jawa and manage to land a close range HS3. As fortune would have it, it landed good and hard popping the last 1/4 of blue he had left and incapping him.
Don't know if he was a master, but he had really good speed and skills and I still managed to take him at close range.
Part of my victory was my armor, I did not have any good buffs other than some brain food but my armor took a total of about 1200 of his melee damage. If it was not for this I would have went down before I could stand and get that last shot off.
So, some luck, armor and a clean shot saved me from the TK. Not real clean but I won.

You tell that to me after watching me clear AH solo with no buffs but musician buffs and no armor but crappyvoritor-enhanced Bone armor. ![]()
the name of the game against melee is KITE. never drop within 25m. if they burst run - YOU burst run. sniper their weakest pool (hs against mind, strafe2 against health/action). thas it
you'll never lose if you can stay outside of kd range. against a master - as soon as they KD, it's over.
i was testing my armor with a TKM friend of mine, and the first time she did KD and incapped me, without KD i shot the living **edit**e out of her with strafe2 and won, my armor did the rest.
Moral of the story: i hate KD
Yeah, problem with kitting is when you have 4 imps and there pets on you in the middle of anchor you may run into a wall or get cornered. I know you should not allow that but if the other guys are good it can happen.
Learned I no longer fear CH though. There was a raid on anchor, 2 grauls were sent into the city. I took them both on without burst run and spamming strafe II. Never got hit and killed both pets, then I took out one of there troops but by then my mind was drained and was taken out by 3 of them. Over all though, I hurt there offense and after I cloned and with the help of 2-3 other guys we took them down.
Tactic used in this fight that was good. Dont let the pets take out the others, as master riflemen you can eliminate that threat very fast freeing the rest of the troops to focus on the players.
