FD in pvpmakes no sense at all and really needs some way to be countered. I get a message that i can't SniperShot him/her becasuse he is not incapped, but then i can't posture-up himso i can incap him.






It was not a misconception, for a long while our posture up attack would pull Smugglers from FD. It was changed a while back so that it would not.






from what GM said in the smugglers forums, that the posture up bringing someone FD'ed out of FD was a bug... FD is working as intended now, no way to bring someone out of it...


nice list... at least the devs are consistant, we give them the same issues, the give us the same responces... we're looking into it, it'll be adressed in an upcoming patch, wait for the combate rebalance...

Don't expect this to happen. We have plenty of damage types as is. Sure we have issues with some MOB's. But that is why there are different professions.

Don't expect this to happen. We have plenty of damage types as is. Sure we have issues with some MOB's. But that is why there are different professions.







Prob i can die so fast that even the master doc in my group can't heal me in time if one spawns on top of me (like krayts and kimos love to do). (As a MR 4/4/0/0 commando my melee defense is awful when holding a rifle)

Forgot, I seem to take HUGE damage from melee hits (PvP and PvE) recently, I used to be able to tank (for a short while) a herd of rancors while newbs in the guild got clear. Now i seem to fall prey to just one bull ranc almost instantly. i don't understand, as I'm wearing a full suit 90% kinetic comp now, where back in those days i was barely able to patch together a suit of kinetic bone/chiten/ubese set.

We still have the AoE bug, where you are using an AoE on a target,and are unable to re-direct fire to a new target.


Ran intoit again just last night. I repeatedly hit clear & peace (meanwhile my hunting partner is on TS screaming "Shoot it! Shoot it! Get it off of me! Ahhhhh!!!!!...), and was finaly able to fire on the new target.


I don't know if clear/peace had anything to do with getting me out of it, or if it was timeor some other factor.

speaking of 'huge' dmg while holding a rifle... here's something i thought was a little strange.


i was overt and having sum fun last night - i started off fencing (I'm master rifle, master fencer, trickshot, medic 2030) but took a moment to switch to rifle and kite. well, this went fine for a minute, then one of the tkm's that was chasing me managed to dizzy/KD me. so be it. i still had my DXR6b in my hand as i lay on the ground so CoB wasn't helpin me -



all of a sudden the tkm is hitting me for just over 1100 dmg, 800+ of which was getting throughmy NEW 80% kineticarmor, according to my combat spam. now, i WAS kd'd -andi haven't been KD'd in so long (high dizzy/kd resist) that i don't know how much dmg to expect.


is this normal? not calling bug/nerf here, just asking if that is the norm.

va-mei - i had a similar problem the other night while hunting rancors. i was stuck in a strafe2 loop - clear, peace, and dump did nothing. after at least a minute of me shooting strafe2 at nothing in particular, i had to run out of range in order to make the madness stop.

I believe KD is supposed to add 50% more damage, so those numbers would still be a bit large I think. Maybe the armor hole is back for the third(or whatever number we're on now) time?

This happened to me tonight on Rancors as well. Unfortunately i was kneeling and couldn't stand, couldn't run, couldn't use stims, couldn't attack. Needless to say i died with the rancors hitting through synthsteak, dodge food, and 80%comp armor.

I have suspected for a couple of nights the armor hole is back. Even when holding my sword in hand i take more damage than i did.

I reported this bug in the live issues thread. It is pretty bad that this happens and cost you and your hunting partners their lives.

I seem to have come across a new problem in the last couple of days, I don't know if it's a rifleman thing specifically but that what I am so I figure I'll post it here. I have found that in the last couple of days if I go prone and attack something I will go into combat with it, it's name will change to red if it's yellow and after the normal sort of time it will notice me and start attacking, the difference is I won't have fired at all in the mean time.
If I use special attacks then I shoot and if I crouch or stand I shoot, but going prone and just trying to do regular attacks does nothing.
Now as I am hated by most factions in the galaxy and often get into combat when I'm not buffed I rely on being able to lie down and take out MOBs one at a time sniper style, it's one of the things I really like about rifleman, as long as I have a reasonably quick T21 I can kill anything with 2-3k HAM before they see me.
I have been a rifleman since I started playing in January and I have never had anything like this happen before so I don't know what to think.
Anyone else had anything like this or does everyone else always charge in buffed with headshot 3 and wouldn't even notice?
