I personally perfer Humans, due to there sound stats, but any race can be a good swordsman...

Well, i don't know what a wook's armour consists of but just wear the whole suit and you'll be fine. But at your level you should be killing quenekrs not stalkers, do stalkers at novice.

thanks for the info...only reason i don't remake him is cause he's a master bio engineer and i REALLY don't want to do that grind again ugh.

Nps, the race isnt important its what you do with your character, right armour/weapons/food etc will make you a good swordsman.

Glad i found this post, I have a question for you Veteran swordsmen.
I have a Wookiee Bio Engineer that I've decided to make into a Swordsman also inorder to help gather meat. Being a wookiee i went shoppin for armor and aftera while i found some half decent hunting armor, chestpiece and leggings. Got full buffs and went hunting. I got jumped by a huurton stalker and was able to take it easy enough with just twohanded 2, but once i got more than 1 mob and got dropped like a bad habbit(2 stalkers and 1 reg huurton) My question is was my death due to simple lack of deffense skills or was it the lack of boots/gloves type armor? I like being a wookiee untill i have to shop for armor/clothes.

Lack fo protection, Wookiees need full armour to get full protection.

Do u have any medic skills...with nov. medic and 2 brandies no huurton should incap/slain u...

Rodians do get some 2h skills for free at start (accuracy i believe, don't take my word for it tho)
Zabraks have the ULTIMATE Equilibrium wich if friggin great at master... (woot! instant full mind heal!!)

I'd suggest sullustan or ithorian tho just cuz of the UBERNESS!
but rodian i'd choose if i'd start now,
