I'm a 1121 rifleman and I typically do more damage to creatures than anyone else. A fast Laser Rifle with slices, krayt and a stock (Mine is 80-480, 4.7 spd) will take down medium armor and below faster than commandos or BH's typically. Add a powerup if you've got the cash to burn on wearing out weapons, and you won't even have to use special shots.

Actually if your friend was grouped with the other people then it didn't matter who did the most damage, the whole group gets looting rights.

My friend was grouped with me.

I've outdamaged large groups as well, but in solo Kryat hunting and camping the Crystal Caves on Dantooine.

However, what people fail to realize is pet damage does not count towards looting rights. I'm sure this was mentioned by a Dev long ago.

What do you need to be able to solo a Krayt? How much rifle speed... etc..etc..

you are a leet combat profession and you walk around with a novice medic title? hey, I never thought of that. I always assume all the image designers and novice dancers I see in PvP are just pushovers.

My favorite is when a group of friends tell me they had to leave the dark trooper base because all the TKM's are taking every kill. So I go down there by myself and get every kill that I can run to in time (prob 95% or more), out damaging 12 or more people, all TKMs, Commandos etc... with pets. Area affect is a great thing sometimes. Then they get mad at me and call me a kill-stealer after they had done the same thing for 8 straight hours, and I do it for 30 minutes. I have done this a few times and have given away 2 holos to friends who didn't stand a chance in @#$% of ever looting one in that crowd. One time someone said "So they are spawning with no health now?!?", that made me really laugh.

Of course i always get asked about my gun, which isn't very high damaging, cussed out, called a classless snake rifleman etc., or told they are going to stop tanking for me (which is what they should do if they are smart!)

I have outdamaged a group of 10 or so people in the Force Crystal Caves with my T21, got me 2 crons

I just take a muon gold, 2 of these things called Eza Sugar Syrups, 321 to mind and focus and a breath of heaven 590 or so to focus, it takes me 10 or so mind for a Strafe Shot 2

Do it all the time. Regularly out damage groups of people.

A Commando ran by once and said " STOP STEALING!! "Just becuase you cant kill a Krayt on your own doesnt mean you have to steal." So... that being said... I attacked a dragon.. dragged it to the party... let it kill them.. then proceeded to solo the spawn... Needless to say... he had no idea who I am and was immediately put on /ignore , I bet he was foaming. The only reason why Trained and Killed them was this moron was a Master Commando (Flavor of the Month) who has NO idea of the combat system and what an intelligent player can do.

Little rule... never EVER piss off a rifleman in the Krayt Graveyard... Only a couple groups have experienced how malicious I can be in the graveyard... but sometimes the Graul/AT-ST whores piss me off so bad.

So go ahead and burn/bleed the dragon... doesnt mean ANYTHING to a rifleman.

For a rifleman.. i do this.... Musician buffs... 2 ryshcates... 1 Breath of heaven. no muon (cant handle the downer)

With this combined I can spam ALL specials with NO penalty to my brain bar.

BTW .. I do see rifleman becoming flavor of the month after the krayt patch goes it.

So what level Rifleman should I be before I even consider playing w/ dragons?

No it was some other guys out at the yard and I didn't even fire one shot. I was seeing if he could do it.

This is a true story, believe it or not, and the best compliment I've ever gotten. I was PvPing on dantooine, and a 3 overt imps walked by, 2 of them had out 2 grauls, and the other guy was a novice commando and he had a gurreck or something..Anyway the ran at me, and I got 4 or 5 of the best shots I've ever gotten off, and killed the lot of them in about 7 seconds. Well, I was amazed, because I thought that it would be a bit of a longshot for me to pull that off.

Anyway here's the fun part....The guy ran back into the Imp outpost saying "Jedi outside of town!"

My roomate who was covert in the outpost heard it all, and was sending me tells about what they were saying.

They started sending me tells threatening to put my name on the forums....It was fantastic, I eventually broke the bad news to them, but It was fun being a jedi for a few minutes.
