Hmm, interesting stuff, Waste. I never really got into pistols (obviously ) so I can't say anything about the Tangle pistol except that I always just assumed it was Restraint damage- until I found out it wasn't. It'd be nice to hear something from a Dev on this, but I won't hold my breath. It really bothers me that those resists remain on MOBs if thatis a damage type that is no longer in-game. I'll shut up about this from now on since neither I, nor anyone else for that matter, can seem back up any theories with real data If someone can enlighten us as to what exactly 'restraint' is/was/will be, please do. Until then, I'll settle for Restraint=annoying

Player jedi do kinetic damage with a lightsabre and force powers. iirc NPC force sensitives do restraint damage for some force powers

People wouldn't be againsta new dmg typeif every profession got the same thing. If only a few weapons were added to the game though, riflemen are the last people that need a new weapon and a new dmg type. If you really don't think this, you need to drop rifleman and try out a new profession for once.

I'm sure we would see rifleman complain a lot if another profession actually got AP3 on a weapon.

However if you want the remaining 5% of people that aren't already rifleman to join this profession, then yea a new weapon would be great. It would sure make publishes easier for the devs. They can through out about 7 professions.

Correct me if im wrong , aint almost all NS cold vul?! last time i checked a good number of them had that vul , singing mountain chicks are heat ....

So , use a SG82 on them , 200 max weapon good slice up to 250 , pup'ed over 320 , at speed cap you should do some good damage to the ones that are high energy resist.

When you get to hell tell them that i've sent you .... you'll get a group discount.

I think we have Waste to thank for this being brought to Jaato's attention but if not, then I thank the myesterious person who was smart enough to ask the AS Correspondant for this wonderful clarification.
