Unarmed hit 3 inflicts blind, strafe 2 does not. If they are using it for any reason besides that, they arent a very good tka, since they have a mind attack,

Who craes if it does more dmg then mind hit 3, its damage thats easilly healable. Ok so its good ti inflict area atatcks with dots, or agains tsomeone with really low health, but other than that whats the point in in trying to do health/action dmg?

All depends upon your group. If you're working with a carbineer, they are going to do action damage, so there's no point in you doing mind - you want to hit the same pool as them. If you're working with a fencer and they're trying to stick a kd and then go 1h hit3, same, you want to use strafe2. If you're working with a pikemen that has an insane health fire axe, you're going to use strafe2. If you're trying to stick dots, you're going to use strafe2 and if there are ever jedi around, you're going to want to choose strafe2 over headhit. Sticking my poisons on multiple folks at once with the dot weapons is great against large groups so I always use strafe, flushing, or flurry to stick those also.

In 1 on 1 PvP I don't use strafe. If we're on a base takedown (or defense) Advanced Strafe RULES ALL. If you're in PvP action with more than 10 people Strafe 2 is EVERYONES best friend. You don't need to apply states, all the other profs do that. Your job is crowd control. All the melee profs love seeing a rifleman on their side hitting everything in that 60 degree cone of death.....lol.

In smaller PvP situations Headshot is the best

seeing like 70% of PvPers seem to use rifles why not have your entire group use strafe 2? how long you think it would take to kill a grouping coming to attack you?i have a friend that's a carbineer so i'm not gonna shoot mind unless it's low or the tard isn't wearing a PSG

Limited situations but several riflemen on a line defending a base really tear through groups of attackers. I was on the receiving end once. After we filed in through the front entrance (they use the popular house/wall tactic) everyone in my group started taking incredible amounts of health damage. So much that I couldnt spam areaStimC's fast enough. Turns out they had 7 riflemen kneeling at 70m's from the front doors while the rest of their defenders engaged us point blank as skirmishers. You had to come inside the wallsto attack them but it was already chaos. We lost that one.

Friend just looted a 700 damage dxr6, got it sliced and powered up at around 1100 or so (bad dmg slice). I dueled him for fun and beat the pulp out of him with a stun baton lol. He was hitting me about 1 in 10 shots with fencer dodge, COB, and pikatta pie. I think the biggest reason we're all using dxr6's is the range mods. His had ony +30, my normal has +130, the difference is huge. Range-modded dxr6 + citros snow cake + deadeye serum = damage dealing riflemen in pvp. I know I get caught up in worrying about a few points of damage often times when I should probably just worry about hitting the person vs getting a couply extra points of damage if I do hit them. My $.02.

Yeah I agree with Fencer dudes assessment.

However I also have +25 Rifle Accuracy, +25 Rifle Accuracy While Moving, +25 Block, +25 Defence Kd, +25 Defence Dizzy as SEA's. I'm also an armorsmith so my PvP armor is 40% Stun armor with 88% Base all round.

With steak, deadeye, thaktillo, brandy, canapes - I dont lose very often

And when I do lose, its normally to Jedi - so I log my alt on. Master Lightsabre / Master Healer / 4004 Enhance

ummm.....i've heard that PSG's only work against AP0 weapons. This would make sense since i've been wearing the same 3000 condition PSG for about three months of daily pvp with very little decay. In the same amount of time i've almost ruined my whole suit of 37 stun, 87 base comp armor that started at 33k condition. The way i figure it the stats don't lie, how could a psg last so long if it protects against all AP weapons?
