Thread: Increased decay rate?

Welcome to the wonderfull world of powerups.


Those, and a +5 speed attatchment with a T-21 will legit melt the gun out of your hands.


My PvE rifles decay at a much slower rate than my PvP rifles. The PvE rifles are used roughly four hours a day, while the PvP rifles are lucky to see maybe thirty minutes total. Powerups are likely the cause of this problem you noticed.

Well, I took some time to run 12 missions this morning, to try and preform an informal test of this new "problem," to see if it really exists.


I was using a sliced, unpowered4.0 speed Laser Rifle, firing once a second.


Started with 368/465 condition, purchased before Publish 10. Each mission took aboutthree to fourminutesto take out since I was using mostly default attacks. So, I figure the Rifle was being used for maybethirty toforty-fiveminutes total. Its now at 321/465.


Sounds about normal.

i better check the condition on my gubs. all mine are at least 5 months old

Thanks to everybody that responded, looks like the power-ups are the source of my problem

I am of the opinion that a T21 decays faster than a Laser Rifle when you use a powerup on it. My current T21 is getting used up at roughly twice the rate that my Laser Rifle is for the same number of shots. I use identical powerups (from the same crate) on both of them.

Well, I'm glad other people are noticing this. I've been aware of this problem for some time now and have wrote in reporting it to no avail.

Also, weapons are taking huge hits when you repair them, another thing I reported. It's ok for them to go down but the hits they take are ridiculously huge.

they are taking bigger hits when repairing? thanks Ibought 2 t21's with the best accuracy modifiers I have seen in a llong while +33 at 50m got a 33% damge slice on one (now 536 max damage w/o pup) and burned through almost a 3rd of its condition killing one krayt with my guild.

using a sliced t21 with pup,


spent 3 hours in the gen labs last night. lost 250 cond.


however it is 6 months old
