Thread: Just a little something to get your T-21-nerfed blood boiling
Does anyone know if those in-town fountains will put out the flames?
Spent some time at Rori killing rebels and ran into a BH, now I am not sure what his spec was but he was shooting the LLC every secound so it had to be pretty high. I fought him 5 times and lost twice, BUT every time he didnt have much of a problem hitting me, I was forced to use the T21 which I rarely use anymore. My problem is the auto attack damage, no way should someone be able to auto attack for 800+ every secound. After being killed when I used my 20a I decided that the only way to beat him was to hope for that big hit that the T21 has. Problem here is the T21 cant hit the broad side of a barn at times, and I had to do while moving because his hit rate was in my opinion to **edit** high seeing that I have +66 to ranged D. The Devs have a problem though.
The devs cant just fix the weapons now, they have been out to long and as I have stated people have stock pilled them. Even if they were changed now we would see every swingin d!ck with the "Pre Nerfed" ones for the next year. Only way I see them fixing this is to shorten the range of the comando weapons and LLC, or gimp the hell out of the accuracy for anything over 15 meters. Either way they cant continue to alow weapons to do more DPS with a auto attack then all the other professions weapons do in special DPS.

Here's a little graph I drew up.
This is what happens when I get bored at work.

Hey, I know the guy that made that shot... :0

Base accuracy is something like +0 at 0m, +3 at 16m, +0 at 64m.
Compared to a t21
-70 at 0m, +11 at 60m, +4 at 64m.
"Just to set the record straight he alowed the BH to get with in 15 meters."
To further the record straightening, the only way riflemen can not allow people to get within 15 meters is to run away.
If the accuracy stats really are all positive like that, it means that the gun NEVER has a negative chance to hit. The theory is that the chance to hit between the ideal and the minimum is like a slider. In other words, since the chance to hit at 60 meters is +11 and the chance to hit at 0 meters is -70, then the chance to hit at, say, 40 meters would be -23 or so. Essentially, imagine ONE slider, marked on the top with the min and ideal ranges, and marked on the bottom with the chances to hit listed. As you move through one, you move through the other evenly.
But if all the chances to hit with the LLC are positive, that means that it NEVER has a negative chance to hit, base. Add to that accuracy mods and /aim. . . *shudders*
