I agree that bounty hunters SHOULD have been designed to use rifles. That entire skill line for us is essentially wasted. But heck, Bounty Hunters also have no practical use for Hunting, Survival, or Trapping either. So essentially HALF of the skill point requirements for bounty hunter have no bearing whatsoever on how the end-profession really works.

Hmm...I disagree with some of this. Rifles? Sure, I can see how they don't fit, but they really would fit better than a heavy weapon, IMO. (For realism concerns, nothing to do with game mechanics).

No use for Hunting, Survival or Trapping? As far as hunting, I can run with you on this one. Trapping on the other hand, is very much a Bounty Hunter thing to me...but again, I'm not referring to game mechanics, but in concept. A Bounty Hunter normally would incapacitate and capture their prey, which would make traps VERY useful...if humanoid targets were targetable with them which, as I found out recently, they are not. Survival? Heck yeah Bounty Hunters should know this! If you are 3000km from civilization (if you can call it that) and you are injured, would a good bounty hunter lay down and die? You need a place to heal.

Again, I know nothing about SWGs Bounty Hunters other than what I have read, but it seems that *most* of the prerequisites reflect an idealized form of Bounty Hunters. They are supposed to be extremely diversified trackers/attackers (notice I didn't use "killers") that can use many, many skills to help them overcome their challenging prey.

I don't really see this though, so it seems to be intimated to me thatto allow most Bounty Hunters to actually complete their missions (only destroy?), they need to pack a huge punch. I would rather see Bounty Hunters have more options for taking their bounties down, like being able tosnare their target, reducing their movement rate. Bleed the thing and let it die.

Okay, I guess I'm done. I could talk more, but I'm tired
