Same ... really interested to know how you cap rifle XP in 45m ... from all posts I read about the fastest way to cap xp, the only truth I checked is one hour tkm in squill cave if there isnt more than 3 people in the cave ... the advantage of TKM over Rifle is that the AOE tk attack is an all around attack, the AOE rifle attack is a cone one , so as soon as you are surounded you must target each mob ... thats why I find caping tkm easier than caping rifle ...

Geo cavesounds very interesting... I have never actually been there. So a Rifleman can fare pretty well there? What is your normal hunting M.O.?

Once you are surrounded switch to PBArea1 from Marksman. It works better if you are totally surrounded than using Strafe2 on each mob. Know your abilities! We don't just have Strafe2 and Headshot3

I've heard some pretty crazy numbers for maxing out rifle exp, but this one is amazing. How do you manage to max out in such a short time?

900,000 exp in 45 minutes. At 5k per kill, thats 4 kills per minute. Easy enough to find 5k mobs on Dath, butthey can be veryspaced out. Are you doing this at the Geo caves? Rancor Valley?

not counting travel times to actually get from where ever you get buffs etc to the hunting location.

things you will need.

  1. Speederbike

  2. macro to mount dismount said bike

  3. pet/droid/friend to group with

  4. ticket to an advneture level planet Endor/yavin/dathomir

  5. master rifle preferably with at least scout 3xxx for the terrain nav

  6. discipline to "stick to the plan"

what you do is pick a random destinition that you know generally has spawn and travel towards it. every time something appears on the radar stop and kill. dont wait for the lair to respawn just target the lair and fire till everything is dead using strafe2. when its dead start moving to the destination u had picked before hand. having the overhead map on helps as well.

this results in a zig-zaggy pattern as you move from spawn to spawn. my best time from getting on the bike at the starportto getting 900k is 32 minutes. my worst is 1.5 hours. most time i average between 45-50 minutes. the key to leveling fast is to not milking spawns but killing and moving to the next. your wasting a LOT of time waiting on respawns if something respawns while your killing a nearby spawn fine go kill it. about the only things i skip over are known beasts that give less than 500xp per kill.

im kinda hesitant to put this out but i guess really dont care. im not a powergamer but i am always interested in efficiency of effort.

one other thing.

it helps to know the areas your hunting. if you have no knowledge of a planet and what spawns in what density in a general area then your just crap-shooting till you have some experience in the layout of a given planet. since i am a former MCH i know generally what directions to go in and how far i can go before a spawn areastops being fruitful. i can see how a pvper who's entire game experience is what vendor to buy a ackly stun baton from would have problems in gaining XP quickly.

the reason i pick a destination to avoid boredom. i can only do this a couple time a day till i get bored out of my head from the mindless grinding.

in the time that the average person has spent moving to the GEO cave findinga semi non-camped area and setting up there. i have liekly maxed my XP and headed out to the village to convert it.

yeah you CAN do it faster in the spawn in the geo cave or the squill cave if there are not any 2yr old there messing with you but the odds of that not happening are pretty slim. i prefer a more sure result without having to compete with the "PwNzRd JoO" crowd.

i'm speed capped rifleman + TKM. rifle xp using strafe2 on everything that moves comes in SO much faster than unarmed xp, it's not even funny.

the key is to be speedcapped, though. riflespeed = +97.
