Beam rifle: cert'd to the SL profession 0004confirmed (but kinda surprised it did not go to the commandos.)

Heavy Acid : Commando novice. confirmed (they had this before)

Massasi Ink Rifle: Commando Master <---------------kinda surprised no one is asking about this yet, This is unconfirmed but 99% likely

Ok, finally managed to log in. I really like it so far

However, one thing I did notice is that rifle speed seems to have dropped!? I did a quick calculation and got max +65. What is the deal there? Also, at master there is no rifle speed or accuracy mods, only general speed and general accuracy!? This a bug?

QFE

I would think that rifleman get that, and commando's got the proton rifle. Commando's seem just more "techie" while Master rifleman master all rifles, even the ancient ones, (for example the tuscan)

what happened to increasing the ranges from 64m? Having rifles at max range of 35m for example is retarded. How the hell can one snipe at 35m?

I think that the max range of rifles increses as you get better rifles, cdefs are like .22's T21 is a .308 ect

  • range on weapons is not finalized and will be changing.. yes the cdef is the .22 of the universe.

  • weapons are missing elemental affects and will have them applied yet

  • many weapons are currently missing certs (they said the Player crafted versions will have the certs listed)

The E11 seems a bit weaker from all the other elite weaponry (yes I'm bothering about the E11 again ), but unless it has somekind of advantage in a different field...damage should be increased a bit?

I would rather the flipped the Jawa with the e11 for main damage stats and position in the tree. Maybe we should push for that?

From a purely selfish perspective, we may not wish to do that, since the Jawa represents our one weapon geared against those with Electrical vulnerability (Battle Droids spring to mind for some reason...). I agree the E11 may not be adequately represented versus other rifles, perhaps in part because it's a basic energy damage weapon with no elemental benefit.

If you wanted to positionthe E11as a more potent weapon in keeping with its use by the Empire's "crack" military force, the Stormtroopers, you might simply swap its stats and cert position with the Laser Rifle instead, since they serve the same basic function, but the E11 is a military version whereas the standard Laser Rifle strikes me more as a civilian weapon. /shrug

Swapping it with the Stats of the Laser rifle seems like the best solution to me. I can't believe the spraystick can shoot further then the E11 o.O

kundo and fisher... both are very excellent points. This would be fine with me.

all tier 3 weapons are basically equivalent across all professions now for damage output (as per a dev statement this morning)

the reason I suggested the jawa is that it is tier 4 and the laser is tier 3

maybe this would be better?

jawa position swappedto the e11

the laser position swappedto the jawa

the laser positioned in the e11 current spot

so it would be

e11 tier 4

jawa tier 3

laser tier 1

I'm still worried about the T21, that it becomes the end all weapon again.

Somehow the Massasi Ink rifle seems fitting to commando, as it could also be used as a melee weapon (judging purely on its artwork)
