I was not rifleman back than
(and thats 300 days ago countin in all my trial toons
) i still remember how damn hard was to kill a squill with no buffs and only a 2h curved sword
(brandy did exist than but i had no clue about its existance lol and i didnt know bout buffs than) IT WAS FUUUUUNNNNNN
I kinda think those discoveries i made later made me love this game (presently nothing to discover gettin angry adn anoyed cause of that cant waith for CURB)

I remember a time when I did not get seasick playing... <barf>
This new snappy movement appears to be the one thing that can get me to quit this game - I physically can not play it! 20 mins and I start barfing... 10 mins and I have a minor headache.
They tell me it is so that I can react faster in combat due to the combat upgrade - if this is the case the CU failed for me already

Hmm seasick, head ache... I know that one. That has happened to me a few times affter up dates also. It's most likely not the turn radius geting smaller (the snappy movement thing). For me its always been the refresh rate getting set back to 60 Hz. Any thing less than 72 Hz is not great for your eyes. Head aches, and nausea are the first symptoms.
From the lunch pad select Game Options. The menu might take a few sec. to pop up. Click the tab labeled Graphics. At the top you will see a drop down list of resoutions with an @ and then a refresh rate I.E. 60 Hz.
Select one of the 1024x768 ones above 72 Hz. Press Ok.

I remember and miss those days, what I miss even more is the 20 person hunting groups, where we had one squad leader and 3 ch with their pets and we would kill everything or all run away and put up a camp to heal

When I first played, I was a rifleman. Everyone laughed at me, just as they laughed at the pikemen

i got laughed at too for being a rifleman ... but they laugh no more
i remember my first t21 after the resource finally spawned and everyone used to ask me W.T.F. IS THAT gun???????
it was pretty crappy and cost me 30k, which was to me was almost like 30 mil back then and all the cash i had
with master marksman in hand also i was almost speed capped, so once i reached master rifleman i was so
freaked out at my awesome power that i thought i was bugged ... i was imp then, and my first real pvp
experience was to take out a group of 5 rebels out in the wilds of dantooine. man were they angry!
up to this point i've grinded out rifleman 6 times but the best time was still the first
being a noob, the shine of high adventure glinting in my eyes (or was that tears from being whooped
by mauler acolytes?) doing imp missions out of kaadara (which was very much the center of the known
universe, just like coronet is now, but without the spammers) ...
a couple of pieces of bone armor on.
lets go hunt krayt ... NO! not leaving till we have a full group, and at least 2 rezzerz .... i gotta
say that i don't miss walking all the way to mos taike to clone and then having to walk all the way to
the krayt graveyard ... i miss the old groups.
now it's too much solo .... im hoping the CU will bring back the group spirit of the game.
yes, i remember the old days and there was a lot of good in them

I was lucky and had our guild WS give me my first T21. I was laser rifle king. I remember having to seriously consider what you were killing before you attacked it or it was lights out. Running all the way(pre-mount) and trying to make it to the rebel hideout without getting slaughtered. Those were the good old days.

I wasn't a rifleman at that time, butI was a commando and I thought I was the $#@&. That was back when we would have small wars between AH and bestine, and it wouldn't take 15mins to finish a duel. I remember the first time I fought a guy with buffs and he took on me (M commando), a TKM and a M CH who had a rancor and one of the guys turned him in because we thought he was cheating...lol. If i saw someone with 1 peice of composite armor he wasfollowed by about 10 people asking how, where he got it. Oh and if you died once, noone cared, because there wasn't a buff line or armor decay all you had to do was run back out and attack the imp thats raiding AH or that mission that you just got punked on. I do kinda miss those days. When PvP was simple, when 1mil creds could prob buy you anything, when there were rumors of jedi's and mandolorian armor, when a pearl sold for 70k. But like someone else said, I do NOT miss the hikes I had to take. Like the death march that you and your squad had to take to get to the tusken ft or to the krayt graveyard.

mastered rifle back on the 'fin in the bad old days... with a wookiee. I think I have a Nox Burninator or three somewhere tucked away.
mastered it again on TC as things were changing. zabrak was better than wookiee... but I wish I'd have made a hootman.
