yes i understand something needed 2 be done about bh but why ruin so many peoples templates in the process it will not fix def stacking atall

I am a moron. My template will still work, as I already have ranged support from CM.....


Nevertheless, while the CU won't screw me personally, I don't see the reasoning for adding that tree at all. It made sense the way we had it.


FIX THE STUFF THAT IS BROKEN, NOT THE STUFF THAT WORKS !!!


Rifleman was the most appropriate profession in the game. The only issue with Rifleman was that the mind pool wasnt healable. If it was, no one would ever complain about us.

And nobody would ever die. I have seen 4 duels that lasted over half an hour and only ended because the two people dueling decided to stop not because one of them won. I've heard of many others. Is that what you all want this game to become? You feel betrayed since you lost the power to be an army of one, did you ever oncethink that being an entire f*cking army was a bad thing? That you alone where able to do everything in the game, a game that is multiplayer by the way, somehow detracted from it?


I'm really hopingsomeone says yes but then again I'm starting to lose my faith in humanity once again....I really should stop watching CNN.

not true, rifleman duels almost always result in a winner. Melee professions often draw, but rarely do ranged. On Scylla i can take out any non-jedi combatant, and will get floored by any jedi... no draws, some of the fights do last a long time, but so what? Time gives tactics and stratogey a chance to be manifested, and minimizes the effect poor or high damage rolls have on combat, which is undoubtedly a good thing.

So if we just ignore half of the combat professions, the way that armor and buffs work to impact combat at largeamong other things, and any star warsesque feelings the game lacks due to comp clones then everything is fine and dandy?

I'm sorry did you notice the length of those long time duels I mentioned? Half an hour with noone coming to the forefront as winner. They did not end because someone won they ended because both people couldn't stand fighting for that long. I'm sorry but to me 2 hours is what I consider gaming time, what I play in thegame give or take a few hours depending on what day it is; not 1 fight.

Not at the hour mark. I agree that a 13 second duel is a bad thing, however 5 minutes gives you a chance to pull your tricks and see how they play out. If they worked then you won if they didn't then you learned what not to do next time you fight Dr Lucky. The result of the CURB is meant to be slightly prolonged battles but not prolonged into an idiotic length. Last I checked Endor commandoes had around a20 minute window, not the entire movie, to blow up the shield generator.

Finally someone with a brain. I am tired of all the children complaining that this is gonna ruin the game and that they are gonna quit when it comes in. I know a lot of people who will come back to this game when the CU comes in. If we lose the one man armys when the CU goes in, and gain back some of the better players then i dont mind at all.


As it stands i am happy that it will be much harder to be a one man army, if possible at all. The only thing i have been doing the last few months is grinding and dropping proffesions, waiting for this change and the smuggler revamp. Pvp for me was ruined with stackers, and there is little currently rewarding in the high end pve. The devs are working on correcting that and i for one wont miss the children who quit the game because they can no longer be powerful without actually thinking, and i will welcome back the many good players and roleplayers who quit the game.

I think alot of people are getting all uptight too soon. We don't even know the full spectrum about the CURB. My guess is we probably have about 5% knowledge on the entire thing, so everyone take a deep breath...

I for one am on my way back to my old Rifle/Ranger template from over a year ago because of promise I've seen withthe CU. I'm actually quite impressed withwhat they HAVE shown us.
