I doubt it is more then 4, however luckily for them after 5 shots I have 13 mind left and odds are at least 2 of my shots will miss if they get to close range or I decide to kite. (after ranges get fixed. We should be poor close up and pistols should be poor far away not equal at any distance) So essentially range needs to be fixed, buffs need to be fixed, and armor needs to be fixed then we are balanced to the game. Now that may sound like a lot of work and nerfing us would do the same thing but for less effort. That is wrong and an inane thought since "fixing" us would just make buffs and armor all the more powerful and necessary for battle and the duels themselves will only end when someone runs out of stims.

Mind damage isn't an issue. Even with strafe2, riflemen can deal so much damage it's ridiculous. Riflemen have just as much defense as other classes, though block is borked kinda. A carbineer/pistoleer doesn't compare to a rifleman by stacking the smuggler/BH weapon lines in damage output. Best pistol special in the game for sheer damage (stopping shot) maxes out at about 1800 with quite possibly the best krayted pre-nerf scatter pistol money can buy, a krayted repub would be similar, those're the highest damaging pistols. And a rifleman can EASILY hit 4-5 times that with a krayted T21 and HS3, and that's to a nearly unhealableHAM-specific pool, and with a few attachments, also at the speed cap. Supposing they adjust the effect of mind attacks, instead we have 3-4 times that with strafe2, AoE. Come now... that's a little bit much, when you can add in a bit of fencer, or the defense lines of pistoleer, and have as good a defense as anyone.
