since when do you get a benefit from Elemental dmg??

There are enhancements coming to the armor system such that armor can be enhanced vs certain elemental damages and that will lower a resist to an opposing damage type. They somewhat exist right now but in the future it is supposed to be bumpped up quite dramatically.

so you're saying Non-Enhanced(Elemetal) weapons are teh sux?? or will they have Enhanced dmg added??

no - non-enhanced will probably have a higher base damage then one that is elemental + base so the elemental ones would work slightlybetter vs enhanced resists but the basic damage ones would be the jack of all trades - they would hit hard in all situations.
