AngryCustomer hits it right on the head .

The true power of the Rifleman is the fact that we can target a specific non-healable pool with devastating attacks .

I had a similar experience on Lok last night , Angry ... about 8 of us and I'm the only Rifleman . We ran into a Nym's high level guy that had 10k in each pool . I got out to range at 60m and I opened up with my standard Mindshots I and II , then went straight for the Headshot II's all the way . Now , I drained it's 10k mindpool faster than the other 7 shooters COMBINED .

That is weak somehow ? It's the true power in this game ....

Look at it this way - and I'll drop something that not many people know - Mindshot's I and II STACK . So , I was getting an 800 point MS I , and a 900 point MS II with some frequency last night . Think about it .... every 15 seconds that MOB is getting roughly 1500 points drained out of it's Mind Pool . Add some 1200 point Headshot IIs and what can stand up to you ? Not much , except the absolute hardest red con MOBs . And they are not meant to be soloed anyway .

I think the mistakes people are making are attacking MOB's that BAF ( Bring a Friend ) and also they are not being creative enough when the MOBs charge in .

Check out the Rifleman tips I posted on this forum , I don't want to repeat them all here .

Suffice to agree with what Angry said and insist that Rifleman is one of the strongest skill sets in the game .

Could it be improved ? Sure , but how easy does it have to get ?

In every group I've ever been in, I always attack the mind pool. No matter what. GOOD players expect you to. It's where your damage is. There are times when, using my laser rifle, I'll kill a mob damaging the mind pool by myself faster than four or five of them will damaging health. A good rifleman never comprimises. Always attack the mind pool.
