Thread: Just incase life wasn't difficult enough, the Devs are here to help us all out.
The AI changes aren't going to be that drastic from what Thunderheart has mentioned. Currently, if you group with your pets creatures will already agg you on occasion. It doesn't happen when you're not grouped. They've stated that the change will just mean not grouping will have the same issue.

Dunnlang - in your comparison between Rifleman and Commando.. suck it up and keep going to master sharpshooter. (if you can spare the skill points, grab master Marksman as well).
i have a commando or two in my guild, and i have no trouble keeping up with the dmg he deals, and i've never seen him outpace me, i don't think. sure, he can put a 4000+ hit on something. but i can do 1500-4000 every 1.4 seconds
accurately. from 64 meters. against multiple targets.
there's a lot to be said for master rifle/master marksman with a poweredup and damage sliced T21/Jawa with Strafeshot2.
I wouldn't give a rat's ass about Critters or Critter Handlers, if it weren't for the fact that solo players without pets are incapable of fighting 99.99% of the critters on the "adventure" worlds, and are excluded from a non-trivial amount of critters on the 5 starter worlds.
I would have to strongly disagree with you, I make it a point to take out big critters and I'm only a riflemen 3 0 0 2.. I use no armor, pets or buff. The key words is patience's, opportunity, and tactics. I can solo just about anything.. Except Big kimos and krayt dragons (juveniles I can do though ). Although I must admit I have about 30% chance of incap or DB depends on the mob.
Now to do what I do you need to be at least scout 4 4 0 0 and marksmen 4 0 0 3 you can still solo most mobs even at that level but it will be a lot toughter. Have a little medic skill the more you have the better.
Few Tips
1) Make sure you have lots of phecnacine traps and a few Adhesive mesh traps...
2) Look around and check out the lay of the land.. Hills are you're friend and rivers can also be used to your advantage.
3) Warning shot use it, and use it often.
4) Stack Bleeds
5) Have a spray stick or scout pistol. Scout pistol IMHO is better
6) Now if they bring a friend you can warning shot a couple away, and concentrate on the one that you hit first.
Sorry for being so short.. But this post would be really long if I explined what to do in every situation. If you want PM me and I'll give you my msn, or aol handle and I can tell you in better deatil.
Well your opinion differs with mine. If they take my pet then they better take the 250% damage mod as well. Will they? no. So what you are telling me, in effect, is to drop something I love to play and get CH instead. Make no mistake, that IS what you are saying. Theese "other fixes" suck mightly...

This CH nerf was to help thin the masses of dabblers. It is a bout time. Non CH should have no pets IMO. I also think graul maulers CL was too low for the ham, damage and resists it has. I am not sure about lowering the MCH max pet level but the other "fixes" are good
