Thread: Someone Please Explain This Crap to Me, PLEASE
You guys are forgetting that armor piercing is not working for PVP...
56 points of damage is entirely possible if they had a MK3 and he got a low roll on his hit.

Ok, I'll look for a better Jawa (havn't seen any in weapon shops, so I got this from the bazaar. Got to be a better one out there). I have never got anything sliced, so I'll have to ask around to find some one.
The reason I go overt is to use my fact pets so I can get better missions. I never run the missions around AH, I go to Toushe?spelling station. Sometimes there are rebel camps out there with medics so I can go overt out there, but if not I can't use any pet and am stuck with level 11-13 missions :-(.
I read the posts for PVP, so I can see what I can look forward to. How can you tell if someone is using a shield generator? Is that something I can see somehow, and more importanly, how can I get one, or is the only an imp (bla) item?
I don't know of any way to know that they are wearing a PSG. You just know because they are getting hit for less than they should be.
yes, anyone can get one. no - i dont' think you can see it.... basically, it's light armor with no encumberance, but someone fragile.
if you get a level or two in Creature Handler + get a good pet (GSP is great against kinetic/melee dmg), you'll get higher level missions. 11-13 is about right for your level of rifleman. that's what it gave me at that point.
also, it's helpful to have some medic, and migrate most of your stats to Mind. i lowered my health and action secondaries to 400 (human) and put it all into mind/focus/will. just use stims to regen yourself when you need. my health and action were 750 each. sure, 1 or 2 hits takes me out if i'm holding a rifle. but that's why i keep the scout blaster on a hot key, along with Warning shot
at 2.5x melee dmg, it doesn't matter if you have 750 or 1000 health+action - you're goin down fast. (unless you're buffed by a doctor, then you can laster longer). might as well make the most of your mind.
