Obvisly you guys need to learn how to play the profession. Rileman are all about killing from a distance. We are snipers. Not tka's/pistoleers/swordsmen/pikeman/ or any other melee class. We were designed to take on things with bieing in a conceled state. If you have played as long as I have you were learn how Rifleman works.I understand about all the new players here, but with all the info on the net and the forums you shouldn't be worried about asking on the forums and justplay the class. I have come toit that conceal shot is PVE best friend. When I do janta's/mokks on Dant. I come upabout50m away and concel shot. With no buffs at mosttimes. That's when I get jumped or when some guy isriding on his swoopthrough my base and then agros on me. Butmost of the time Ido infact killeveryone with conceal shot. With the help of brandy. With an ion rilfe that does 225 max damage sliced, and they don't touch me. I play the game with heart not to grind for the jedi. Or just grind like everyone else does. I like to learn the game concepts and figure out what works for any class. I have played this game for over a year. Since release with my guild IIA and we been around a long time. So I become to learn this game threw the members of the guild. And come to relize that Riflemen is the most well rounded class. I plan on becoming a jedi one of these days, but i'm waiting on pub 10 for the new jedi quest. And I'am going to kill all you jedi's muhahaha
Wow, all I've gotta say is this is a pretty narrow and condescending view of your riflemen community and your own profession.
Not using armor, buffs, and food to your advantage is your own loss. I've been a master riflemen since September and I surely don't fight the ridiculously slow method you describe and I personally believe that you are wasting most of the best skills provided you as a master riflemen. You're using a 1st tier master shot (conceal shot) to take out low-level opponents when I'm using a master riflemen level shot (strafe2). Some might call it different, I personally would call my way superior. Mokks and Jantas die before they reach me if I attack using 1 flushing2 and then finish with strafe2 from adamage-sliced, powered-up T21. I see no reason whatsoever to role-play being a sniper when I can outright mow them down with my machine gun.
BTW, conceal shot is a great tool for specific situations. I use it on Giant Dune Kimoglias, Krayt Dragons, Acklay, Night Sister Elders...not on Mokks and Jantas. The game has made riflemen (infantrymen that wear the "gunner" tag) machine gunners. I would love to see us become more of one of our other tags (sniper), but at the moment, we are far from snipers.
I'll believe that riflemen are snipers when we can fire from further than 64 meters, 1 shot kill as a sniper does, drop off the radar as any stealthy sniper should be able to do...my point is we are so limited in our ability to "snipe" in this game that the developers made us heavy gunners, not snipers, and if we don't use our heavy gunner abilitites to our advantage, we're a weak profession.

FYI my goal is not to become a jedi. My goals so far:
-Achieve 10mil
-Gain imperial colonel rank
-Obtain atst
-Acquire a full storm trooper suit
-Do the theme parks
-Get all the exploration badges
-Make another 10mil
-Buy another spare comp set
-Buy/get an AV21
-Get the full line of imperial tech furniture
-Get 5mil
-Finally work on BH armor.
Excellent. Glad some folks are still enjoying the game.
Never went for jedi, so I've had some spare time to get some of your goals and have had fun doing it.
