I am a master rifleman/swordsman on Bria. I'm back to my usual pre CU grindingofsoloing Rancors and have managed to find one of my old attachments from pre CU for +5 to cover. I go out to 65m, go prone, go cover, cover shot x4, then sniper, kickup shot, and finish the brute off. I'll sometimes be detected earlier and only get off 3 shots but I can usually pull off 4 shots. Most of the time, I'll just switch to melee for the final blow but that depends. If you're starting out at 65m, you should be able to pull at least 2-3 covers and a sniper before he gets in melee range.

LOS can really screw up this tactic though, so be careful!
