WOW! Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond. I really appreciate it! Is it fair to say that at this point in my rifleman career I should be looking for speed sliced weapons and then go for damage sliced weapon as I approach master (and close in on the speed cap)?

Also, while I understand there are variances between servers,what do you consider the minimum accecptable stats (speed & max/min damage) for the 5 weapons most folks seem to carry (T21, DRX-6, Laser, Jawa, & SG82)?

Thanks again for the feedback....looks like riflemen are a great bunch of guys!

Let's see here... I tend to carry:

T-21 -- High damage and high AP... what else would you need from a gun?

Laser -- High top damage and medium AP...

Jawa Ion -- Stun damage... good for PvP and certain MoB's

Spraystick -- Low damage and AP... good for when you want to help someone without taking XP... or killing lairs (also good for grinding cause of the speed)

DXR-6b -- Acid damage and medium AP... Good for hunting Rancors, although I don't use em much cause of high decay and high prices.

Also in my inventory is 5 crates of 32%/15% Max/Min Dmg WPU's and at least 5 uncrated WPU's for those long fights.

Hmm, I have my trusted krayted Jawa, and a 33 something% sliced t21, I see no use for anything else then the T21 (well perhaps the new dxwhatever rifle but Im to lazy to get one

) since I can kill about anything with it wihout any bigger problems

T 21 doing the dmg thing

Jawa Ion for those pesky PvPers

2 DXR-6bs, onefor dmg and one for accuracy. Theyre both high ham cost weapons but have a dmg range rivaling the T 21 at a faster speed and better accuracy. The accuracyexperimented/scoped versionrivals the E 11butbetter damage totals and wound chance.

E 11 forthe extreme accuracy withlower ham butless dmg.

Laser for lairs.

3 T-21s, varying speeds and damge ranges

2 DXR6-b, one fast w/lower damage, one does massive amounts of acidy damage goodness

1 scout pistol for thugs

3 Stocked T21's, one with a 35% damage slice for PvP, one with a decent damage slice (28ish I think) for normal hunting, one of my leftover speed sliced for blowing up lairs and junk targets.
1 Stocked DXR6-B with a 33% damage slice for acid vuln targets and for carrying around. (Looks so much better then the T21)
1 Stocked Jawa Ion Rifle with 35% damage slice for PvP.
1 SG-82 with some sort of damage slice for the cold vuln target.

Generally the only ones I powerup are the PvP T21 and the Jawa. Every once in a while I'll power-up the DXR6-B for a tough fight. Always use a 33%/16% max/min power-up.

Yeah PvP and high end hunting against special creatures mostly.

The first set is basically the special tools thati get out when i need the extra firepower. Works well for certain situations where ive taken many armour hole hits in a row and looking like ill be going down.

The second set is my hunting set or spam set. They are used for fullfilling hunting contracts etc. Itsa cost effective way to using weapons to suit the needs of the combat situation without using an uber gun costing millions on a kaadu for example.

I had a jawa made with base krayt tissue and got a 34% damage slice too... it's at 451 max damage with a powerup and like 39 mind cost at like 5 seconds speed.

Being that i'm a master rifleman and commando, my inv. is stocked full of weapons..i'm my own lil' arsenal.

Current Rifles:

T-21 (pre-nerfed from back in the day) Rarely used except in extreme cases.

2-3 Laser rifles.. 1 stocked/scoped Used Constantly.

1 DXR-6B Disruptor rifle

1 Berserker rifle w/stock

1 SG-82 rifle

1 Jawa ion rifle Used for PVP.

1 Tusken rifle w/stock & scope

1 Spraystick

Kelendryyst
Lieutenant Colonel/Pilot of the Imperial Navy
Master TKA
FS Master Doctor
Master Medic
